Nestled in a prime location on the wooded side of Oak Island, Salty Crab is just a three-minute stroll to beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway and a short walk from the closest public beach access!

Enjoy the island breeze from three covered porches and one screened porch, and bring fido along as this home accepts 2 dogs per stay.

You will also find plenty of parks close by including Middleton Park (.7 miles) where you will find the Oak Island Splash Pad, the Oak Island Nature Center and Malcolm Register Park (.7 miles), which overlooks the Intracoastal, Hannon Templeton Park (.4 miles) at the end of 42nd street and Heron Lookout Park (.7 miles) that offers serene views of Davis Canal. Are you a boater? This home is also just up the road from the municipal boat ramp (.8 miles).

Rent the optional four seater golf cart for an additional cost of $450 a week to make exploring the island a breeze!

Besides donning an amazing location, you will say "wow" when you enter the home.

All natural pine hardwood floors set the mood with a clean, classic, yet rustic feel throughout the home.

Main Floor

The living room kicks off the living space on the main floor with plenty of seating including two couches and a spacious arm chair encircling a coffee table and an expansive flat screen TV with streaming capabilities.

The kitchen is a chef's dream with a large island with plenty of prep space to go along with stainless steel appliances throughout including the range overhanging the island. The duo wine bar spaces allow for setting out appetizers or concocting your favorite drink for the evening.

After your delicious meal is prepared in the gourmet kitchen, sit down and enjoy your coastal feast at the dining room table that provides seating for six with an additional four high-top barstools surrounding the island.

The master bedroom is everything you can imagine with high ceilings and accent lights directing your attention to the king bed that faces a Smart TV.

YES, you can switch on the electric fireplace to enjoy the cozy feel while in bed or in the tub! Speaking of the tub, the private bathroom offers a spacious jacuzzi tub, large walk-in shower, a dual vanity and a walk-in closet!

Second Level

Up the pine staircase, the second floor welcomes you to three additional sleeping quarters and even an extra living space!

The back left bedroom greets you with a queen bed nestled between a pair of nightstands with lamps on each side. Tuck your personal belongings away in the dresser or closet space!

Through the shared bathroom that houses a dual vanity and walk-in shower, the second bedroom on the upper level also sports a queen bed and dresser to go along with a large closet space with double doors.

The final bedroom mirrors the last with a queen bed, dresser and a double door entry closet.

A final shared bathroom with full tub and vanity links to the spacious living area. This room is lined with a large sectional focused around a large flat screen Smart TV making this space the perfect spot to turn on your favorite movie or watch the big game!

Outdoor Living Areas

This beautiful abode includes a screened porch and three covered decks with comfortable deck furniture on all four porches.

The main floor offers access through the front door to an outdoor dining area where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee to go along with your favorite breakfast treat as the coastal breeze rustles through the trees.

The back porch feeds off the kitchen and offers an additional outdoor lounge area on the screened porch. Enjoy your favorite beverage at the two high top stools to kick off the evening. The large stainless gas grill is available for your use by the patio in the back.

The top floor houses the final deck space on the front of the home and welcomes you to an additional two top outdoor dining space.

A week away

This home is beautiful, clean, spacious, and comfortable. A great location, being close to the beach, grocery stores, and Middleton park for the littles. Stairs are a bit steep. We were disappointed that the homes elevator was restricted for owner use, as my elderly father has lung cancer and stairs were difficult on his breathing. Beds are comfortable, process was easy, would stay again, just not with anyone who couldn’t handle the several stairs.
