Jo's Escape 2 bedroom 2 bath room condo

Beautiful views of the pond, with abundant wildlife, peeks of Lake Erie and the marina from this upstairs unit. 30 foot boat slip available with your rental. Master bedroom has a queen bed and second bedroom has two twins. All linens, glassware, dishes, pots and pans are here for your use. Two full bathrooms. Located close to birding, fishing and boating activity. Near Camp Perry and Davis-Besse. Washer and dryer, wall unit a/c units and dishwasher. Our development has a heated pool that is open Memorial to Labor Day. Tennis court is also on property, bring your own equipment. Pull out sofa means there is room to sleep six.
As of April 2022 we will be offering Jo's Hideaway in the same building as this condo. You can choose to rent both units at the same time and have the whole building with three carport areas exclusive to your group. Jo's Hideaway is a ground floor unit, completely remodeled, one bedroom, one bathroom, sleeps up to four persons. VRBO#788587

Best Vacation Ever!

My boyfriend and I rented Jo's Hideaway for ourselves and Jo's Escape for his children and friends. We've stayed at various places throughout Green Cove and this was by far the best vacation I've ever had. The condo's were perfect, clean, cozy and well stocked. The boat dock isn't a far walk and was great for our 19' bayliner. The host is friendly, quick to respond and just wonderful to work with.

We would rent here again

We were very happy with our stay. The condo was cute, comfortable, clean, and well stocked. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning watching the wildlife. The pool was good sized, so not that crowded. The only cons are that we were located near a nuclear power plant, and we had to drive into Port Clinton for dining out or groceries. We knew that when we rented the condo so that wasn’t a problem for us. We would definitely rent it again.

Ohio Birding Trip Vacation

The apartment was clean and comfortable. It was supplied with every essential one would need. Cleanliness was excellent and all rooms were furnished with beautiful decor and clean linens. My favorite part was the washer and dryer. We were able to do laundry and not look for a local laundromat. As soon as we entered the apartment, we were greeted with a soothing song and it just made it so inviting. Excellent experience. Many thanks to Lisa for the beautiful place.

Last minute get-away

We had a great stay renting this unit. Check in was a breeze, communication was amazing, very clean!! Kids loved the pool, we brought & rode bikes everywhere, used the basketball hoop at the tennis courts, boat slip was a plus! The condo was the most well equipped I've ever stayed in with plenty of supplies-TP, trash bags, soap, dishwasher detergent, foil, baggies, spices, etc...even coffee! (not just the "starter set" you get at some places). The sun room/balcony was one of my favorite places to be! Would love to come back & stay again!

Week of Lake Life

I would rate this rental as better than expected. All amenities we looked for provided including 2 full bathrooms! Seems like a small thing, but with all ladies, worked well. Close to pool and Lake view.

Highly Recommend

Our family of 6 had an amazing time! The condo was fully stocked and very clean. With 4 boys being so close to the pool was a definite plus! We were close to the lake and all the activities around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Only thing I would change is renting the downstairs condo with the upstairs to give our big family some more space! But the 2 bed and 2 bath with pull out sofa was more than accomodating!

Gorgeous condo!

I had a fantastic stay at Jo's Escape. I was here for birdwatching but this would be a perfect rental for family vacations, fishing trips, and also sightseeing in the area. The owners are readily available but only if you need them. I even received a text on my check in day to make sure I had everything I needed. There are plenty of soft fluffy towels, comfortable bedding, nice hot showers, great wifi reception, a well stocked organized kitchen. It was immaculate when I arrived . The layout is perfect for sharing because each bedroom is sort of in it's own "wing" with a TV in each room and it's own full bathroom. The bedrooms are separated by a large open living space with high ceilings and ample comfortable seating. It's decorated beautifully in a nautical/ lake/ beach theme. All of my guests commented on how pretty the decor is. The best part is the large screened in balcony overlooking a pond and Lake Erie in the background. ( through some trees) I loved sitting out there in the morning with coffee watching the wildlife. I highly recommend this condo!

Very nice condo

The condo was wonderful. We were able to reserve the shelter as a gathering place for a family reunion and everyone enjoyed the pool. The only negative is the close proximity to the nuclear power plant.

What a welcoming place! Lisa is a gifted hostess. The way she manages her property made us feel so welcomed. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Clean. Like being at home. Lisa, you should give a class to other vacation property owners. Never underestimate your gifting.

Nice condo in a peaceful location!

Great place! Spacious enough to enjoy and cook meals in which was convenient during a pandemic. Very nicely appointed kitchen! Plenty of parking and owner was super responsive! My only complaint is the twin beds are very squeaky - maybe frames need to be tightened. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again.
