Beautiful house in Nykøbing M., right in the heart of downtown, within walking distance of everything. The house has two floors and a lovely patio. There are three bedrooms on the first floor: one with a double bed, one with two beds, and one with a three-quarter-size bed (140 x 200). There is a guest restroom on the first floor and a bathroom on the first floor. A lovely, well-equipped kitchen. Two living areas—a dining room and a living room.

Nykøbing is the island’s capital, and about half of the island’s population lives here. Right near the house, you’ll find Dueholm Kloster, the local history museum that tells the story of the people of Mors, and it also hosts various special exhibitions. The town is also home to the Danish Foundry Museum, which displays old Morsø wood-burning stoves and cookstoves. The lovely pedestrian street connects the town to the harbor, which is bustling all summer long. Here, every evening during the season at 9:00 p.m., you can watch the sun set over the marina. It’s also in Nykøbing that the Morsø Golf Club has its beautiful 18-hole golf course. Just south of town, you’ll find the scenic Legind Bjerge area with marked hiking trails and mountain bike trails. Here you’ll also find Jesperhus Feriepark, offering activities for the whole family.
Internationally, Mors is best known for its massive moler cliffs, which you’ll find on Nordmors. The most famous cliff is Hanklit (61 m). Don’t miss out on a hike to the top to enjoy the fantastic view out over Thisted Bredning and across the rolling landscape. Salgjerhøj is the island’s highest point (89 m) and part of the Flade Bakker area, one of Denmark’s most beautiful and impressive hill ranges, offering a 360-degree view of the entire island and the Limfjord surrounding it.
Ejerslev Harbor is a lovely spot with a lagoon where the moler cliffs rise high and where you’re welcome to try your luck as a fossil hunter.
It is also in this area that you’ll find the Fossil and Moler Museum, which tells 55 million years of history through the many discoveries made in the moler on Mors. From the museum, you can follow the “Time Trail” to the Skarregaard Agricultural Museum, where time has stood still since 1958. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking here, and the site is beautifully situated next to the two Skarresø lakes. You’ll also find a lovely nature playground here.
