  • La casa de aproximadamente 200 m² fue recientemente restaurada y amueblada de manera cómoda. Está incrustado en una propiedad cercada de aproximadamente 5,000 m² con prados y pastos, a unos 330 m sobre el nivel del mar.

    Está amueblado con amor y tiene una cocina, comedor, sala de estar, dos dormitorios, cada uno con baño, una superestructura con una cama doble y dos terrazas cubiertas, una con una vista espectacular de los alrededores de Siracusa y sus costas.
    Desde aquí incluso puedes ver el monte Etna. Puede disfrutar de fantásticos amaneceres y atardeceres que de otra manera serían difíciles de ver de esta manera.

    El alojamiento tiene capacidad para seis personas, se puede colocar una cama adicional a pedido por un pequeño cargo adicional.

    La piscina a nivel del suelo combina perfectamente con el entorno. Tiene una maravillosa vista panameña del paisaje y Siracusa.

    En el jardín también hay mesas y sillas, tumbonas y una parrilla a disposición de nuestros huéspedes.

    Incluso en verano no necesita aire acondicionado aquí, debido a la alta ubicación y las gruesas paredes, es agradable en las habitaciones. Para los meses más fríos, la casa está equipada con un sistema de calefacción.

    Puedes hacer mucho y relajarte al mismo tiempo.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit allen Notwendigkeiten. Giorgio hatte uns beim Check-In mit Gemüse und Eiern (von den eigenen Hühnern) begrüßt. Während unseres Aufenthalts hat es an nichts gefehlt. Hervorzuheben ist die himmlische Ruhe die bei klarem Wetter vorhandene Sicht sogar den Etna vom Pool aus. Wer nach Entspannung und Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig.

Super schöne Wohnung und die Sicht über das Tal bei Syrakus mit dem Etna im Hintergrund auch zu sehen.Darüber hinaus ist die Unterkunft auch bei heißem sommerwetter sehr zu empfehlen, da dort immer eine leichte Brise weht.Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub und danken Giorgio und Enzo für die gute Kommunikation

Villa Cava Grande is a beautifully restored traditional farmhouse set in a wonderful secluded location with views over the Siracusa plain as far as Etna. The swimming pool makes the most of the view. We were met at the autostrada exit by Enzo so finding the house was no problem. Giorgio, who looks after the fields, gave us fresh fruit, vegetables and eggs. A very warm welcome in a fantastic place. There are many tourist spots within reach including the Cava Grande nature reserve which is spectacular, though it's a strenuous path down - and up.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Villa!Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern lief einwandfrei und in Haus stand bei unserer Ankunft sogar frisches Obst und Gemüse für uns bereit. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, auch dir Küche hat alles was man braucht. Der Pool ist sehr schön und bietet eine beeindruckende Aussicht.

This house was more than expected from the photos! Giorgio and Lucia the house managers were delightful and brought us fresh garden veggies and eggs from the chickens out back. The views from the house were breathtaking. It was spotless when we arrived and the beds were very comfortable. The wifi was good. It was about a 15 minute drive from major roads so very private and peaceful. I would recommend this property and would definitely stay there again when travelling in Sicily.

Amazing stay!

Our whole stay was outstanding. The house and grounds are beautiful, with everything we needed and a lovely view. Vincenzo and the owners were so friendly and went out of their way to welcome us. The bonus was fresh eggs and produce from their garden/farm. We would love to return!

The villa and views are even better than the pictures suggest. The owners are delightful people who want you to have a great holiday - they go the extra mile to make sure the villa and grounds have everything you might need. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

This was the literally the best Villa location I have ever stayed in and I’ve done a few over the years! Amazing spec Villa incredible panoramic views and pool ! Incredible owners with daily eggs veg and fruit deliveries ! So friendly Just stunning setting ! Can see etna and Syracuse bay from Villa x surrounded by olive trees lemon trees so peaceful ! Definitely plus 5 star ! Will be coming again xx

Great house in a beautiful place

This was a lovely property in a vibrant and joyful part of Sicily. The house is large and comfortable and very quiet. The setting is rustic but with modern amenities and a lovely pool. The kitchen had everything we needed and we often ate out on the lovely patio. We really enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful location with stunning views over the countryside. Great communication with Enzo and team. The villa was very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Beautiful gardens. Great to watch the birds and butterflies. Warm welcome from Giorgio and his wife and lovely touch of leaving us food and other provisions for our first days there. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

We could not have been happier

What an amazing house! So idyllic and quiet with the loveliest of service by Lucia, Guiseppe and Enzo. Fresh produce, herbs and eggs from the hens on the property, exceptional! The pool has been the best one yet and we have rented quite a few houses before. AC in every room. We’ll be back!:-)

Perfect Getaway

This is a beautiful property in a quiet location with lovely views. The house is very comfortable with every need met. The owners provided fresh vegetables and fruit upon our arrival. The pool is beautiful and clean. The beds are comfortable and we all slept well. We highly recommend this property!

Absolutely amazing

This is the 3rd property we stayed at while in Italy. It was an amazing home to stay in. The pool was perfect, the view was outstanding, and the house was everything you could want. But what made this place truly amazing where the hosts Giorgio & Licia, they went far and beyond to make our stay not only remarkable but incredibly memorable. I will definitely miss them and their beautiful home, and can’t recommend this property enough.

Sehr schön

Alles bestens, der Empfang war perfekt organisiert, für Essen und Trinken war am Ankunftstag gesorgt. Wunderschöne Aussicht. Allerdings muss man den Strom extra bezahlen (oberhalb einer gewissen Pauschale) was ich so sonst so noch nie gesehen habe, deshalb nur 4 statt 5 Sterne.

A perfect stay in a beautiful house

Enzo was brilliant and met us off the motorway to lead us to the house. Georgia and his wife were so welcoming and friendly. They had provided food for us and even thought to provided equipment for our baby which was greatly appreciated. Our daughter loved Georgio!! They gave us loads of recommendations of places to visit. The villa itself was beautiful and the views were outstanding. We had a very relaxing week. We would love to visit again.

Nice house in great environment

The property is located aside the main roads and towns. It is very quiet in the middle of the hills with a great view on the mediteranian sea and the Etna. As there are basically no neighbours one can realy enjoy very relaxed holidays here. On the property one can find herbs and spices enriching the prepared food. The house is very spacy and with air condition easy to cool or heat. The owners are very friendly and warm hearted and are always of help in case of questions on the property or on sicily in general.

You wont be disappointed !

Superb property and superb hosts. Photos really don't do the property and pool justice. Most of all the view - A snow capped Etna is magnetic to see and look at. Some tips - not obligatory, but worth hiring a car with good ground clearance. We found Noto the best place to eat locally (30min drive) with a wide variety of nice restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets, a really nice place too. Don't miss the walks to Cava grande and especially Pantalica Necropolis. Taormina is a picture post card place, definately worth the trip together with Savoca. Needless to say Etna is a must, but be careful about the trip on offer at the cable car kiosk. Given the time again, I would have paid a little extra for a small group to go higher. The hosts - just really nice people. Enjoy !

A wonderful stay. Amazing location with clear views to the sea and Syracuse, which is only a 35min drive away. On a clear morning you can see Etna too. The local town of Cassibile is about 15 mins drive down the twisty road. Whilst not the most pretty the people are very welcoming, there is an excellent small super market, and numerous food stores. The cafes are superb, selling also incredibly good and cheap midday lunches. We recommend the ragu arancini. The house is superbly appointed. Excellent kitchen, and loads of space both inside and out. Air con in every room if it gets hot! The twisty road up is not a big deal if you are used to European roads, and has a high safety wall, so don't let that put you off. The owners are so welcoming and helpful. A very generous care package is left at your arrival, including olive oil from their own orchard. Quite excellent.

Das Haus liegt ruhig in den Bergen mit Blick auf Syrakus, das Meer und im Norden den Ätna. Auch im Pool bietet sich einem dieser wunderschöne Blick.Wie vereinbart trafen wir uns und wurden zum Haus begleitet. Das ist sehr angenehm, denn man muss doch einige Kilometer eine kleine Straße bergauf.Die Vermieter waren ausgesprochen herzlich und sehr unkompliziert. wir bekamen oft ganz frisch gelegte Eier, von den Hühnern, die am Ende des Grundstücks gehalten werden, geschenkt.Ein herrliches Grundstück befindet sich um das ehemalige alte Bauernhaus. Im April blüht es in allen Farben.Je nach Tageszeit kann man windgeschützt vor oder hinter dem Haus sitzen. In der Küche haben wir uns auf dem Gasherd bestes Italienisches Essen, mit ganz frischen Lebensmitteln vom Markt in Syrakus gekocht.Das Haus und die Bäder sind sehr sauber. In den Wohn- und Schlafräumen gibt es Klimageräte zum kühlen und wärmen.Wir haben den Urlaub genossen und werden sicher wieder in dieses Haus fahren!!

Perfect rural getaway

My family and I recently spent a week at this amazing property. Its in a beautiful rural landscape at the end of a narrow track off a windy road (nothing to be concerned about if you're used to driving in Europe). There are magnificent views from the front of the house and pool over the hills to Ortigia with sea and Mt Etna in the distance. At the back, you can see then high cliffs which descend down to natural river gorge. We spent hours sitting outside taking in the scenery, listening to the sounds of nature and watching birds of prey soaring overhead. Theres a lovely beach a 20min drive away, and Syracuse and Noto are about half an hour. Its only 15 mins from the entrance to the Cavagrande Canyon which is an incredible place to explore. The property has everying you could need and is very comfortable - we never felt we needed to switch on the air-con the whole time we were there. Oh and the fruit from the trees grown around the property is out of this world!

Herrliche Oase mit tollem Blick und herzlichen Gastgebern

Unser Aufenthalt in dem Haus war ein Traum. Ein verlängerter Sommer im Oktober. Man kommt aus dem SZ an den Pool mit Blick auf Ätna, das Meer und Sirakus. In dem Haus ist alles zur genüge vorhanden. Man kann toll auf der Veranda essen und am Pool die Zeit genießen. Die Bilder im Netz geben den richtigen Eindruck. Das Haus liegt ruhig und einsam auf mehr als 300 m Höhe. Man erreicht es in 10-15 min von der Autobahn. Für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ist es sehr gut geeignet. Wir waren am Ätna, in Syrkaus und den Barockstädten Noto und Ragusa und in Taormina. Die Cava Grande de Cassibile ist ein schöner Ausflug in die Natur ganz in der Nähe. Die Gastfreundschaft von Giorgio und Lucia, den Vermietern ist sehr herzlich. Selbst deren Hühner haben Eier für uns gelegt. Und Enzo von der Agentur hat uns nicht nur von der Autobahn zum Haus geführt, sondern auch tolle Tipps gegeben. Insgesamt ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Wir können Haus und Besitzer/Agentur nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
