We stayed at Hotel Guiones for 7 nights and could not have been happier. Every morning, we started our day with a delicious breakfast with fresh, healthy ingredients made by the talented cooking staff. The coffee was superb! That was followed by yoga and stretching at the secluded yoga platform and then a swim in the saltwater pool. The pool area was a tropical oasis with lush, abundant foliage, a soothing waterfall and the gentle sounds of varied birds and other wildlife. We spent the afternoons exploring the pristine beaches and nearby nature trails, trying out fresh local dishes and tasty beverages in the nearby eateries and shopping at the lovely little shops of Playa Guiones. Evenings were spent watching gorgeous sunsets and then either dining out or heading back for dinner at the bar at Al Local, chatting with the surfing crowd who like to hang out there. All the staff at Hotel Guiones were exceptionally warm, gracious and helpful. Muchas gracias! We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return in the future. Pura Vida!
