Gorgeous property with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Warm saltwater outdoor pool was a delight. And convenient kitchens for preparing meals to enjoy on the terrace. Would definitely return.

Employees were amazing and super helpful. It was great to have a small kitchenette in the room. Sunrise Cafe across the road was fantastic. We have two kids - so something to keep in mind - the walk into the main area can be about 30-40 minutes in the heat (bring lots of water).

Kitchen was super well equipped. Room impeccable. There is no breakfast served at this hotel however one of the best cafés in Nosara is just across the street. Also the only restaurant with sunset view is just down the street. A must see if in Nosara

The hotel is beautiful, new and meticulously maintained. The rooms a large and very comfortable. THE POOL is the most beautiful pool I have ever seen and enjoyed, and I have seen a lot of them in my trips. The staff is perfect! They even game a bouquet of flowers on Mother’s Day!!! If there is one thing I would like to have is a TV in the room. There is not much to do in Nosara except surfing and for those of us who don’t surf nor are on vacation, it can get bit tedious. Either that, or a place to relax and read or watch a movie with A/C! The heat is overwhelming and since 95% of restaurants are “open air”, a hotel room ends up being the only place one can stay during most of the day.

This is my favourite place in Nosara - beautifully designed, cozy, feels like a home away from home. Property is stunning and the staff are extremely helpful and kind. I have been back several times and am already booking my next stay here!

There was a patio, however, there was no furniture or table. Under the kitchen sink smelled terribly they tried to fix it, but just masked it with a fragrance.

This boutique hotel is by far the best I’ve ever stayed at. The property is amazing and so unique you won’t find another like it in the area. Upon arrival we were greeted with ice cold water and property/room shown, smelled very fresh and clean because it was. The staff and security is very friendly and kind making you feel right at home, the bed was comfortable and the cleaning crew did a great job. Pool is clean and big situated right in the middle of the property hardly see or hear anyone on the premises The towels smell clean and coffee machine at the pool is a must. Got a room upgrade because of my membership after the first night, highly recommend this place. Cannot wait to be back, thank you Domo!!!

The property is a short walk from the stunning beach, some of our favorite restaurants. This is a very new and exceptionally well-designed hotel. The rooms are fantastic, everything is brand new and visually pleasing. The pool area and cabanas are wonderful too. Staff is very friendly and supportive. They have a great consierge who booked a lot of activities for us - zip lining, ATV tour, surfing. Room maintenance and cleaning is superb. We were supposed to stay for a week and ended up staying for two.

Domo is such a beautiful hotel with a great staff. The pool is beautiful and not crowded at all. The area is somewhat secluded and you’ll need to grab a tuktuk to go most places ($6-$10) or rent an ATV. The beach (not the main one) is a 10 minute walk, it’s just OK. Luna is right there on the beach and is amazing for breakfast or watching the sunset. There is no nightlife on this road really. There are some food options (Sunrise is great for breakfast and it’s basically across the street) and Il pepperoni has great salads. There is no restaurant, gym, etc in this hotel - just pool, coffee, a common sitting area - that’s it. The hotel also has no TV. Overall I’d recommend based on the staff and the rooms but would get an ATV next time.

Our stay at Hotel Domo was absolutely perfect. Everything was flawless, from the comfort of the room to the calm and welcoming atmosphere. The overall experience was truly enjoyable. The staff deserves special recognition: attentive, professional, always helpful, and genuinely committed to making guests feel well taken care of. This makes a huge difference. As a single suggestion — especially since the hotel does not offer breakfast — it would be wonderful to have fresh fruits available. Fruits are one of Costa Rica’s greatest highlights, and this small addition would further elevate the guest experience. We highly recommend Hotel Domo and would gladly stay there again. Nossa estadia no Hotel Domo foi simplesmente perfeita. Tudo funcionou de forma impecável, desde o conforto do quarto até a atmosfera tranquila e acolhedora do espaço. A experiência como um todo foi extremamente agradável. A equipe merece um destaque especial: atenciosa, profissional, sempre disponível e genuinamente preocupada em oferecer o melhor aos hóspedes. Isso faz toda a diferença. Como única sugestão — especialmente considerando que o hotel não oferece café da manhã — seria a disponibilização de frutas frescas. As frutas são um verdadeiro patrimônio da Costa Rica e certamente enriqueceriam ainda mais a experiência dos hóspedes. Sem dúvida, um lugar que recomendamos e para o qual voltaríamos com prazer.

Beautiful hotel, rough roads to get there

The hotel itself is gorgeous. As previous reviews have mentioned, every space is designed perfectly and beautifully. The beds were very comfortable and large. Cleanliness: the floor felt very sandy/dirty even on our first day. There were also some stains on our couch and one of the towels. And a dead spider on one of the bed pillows. But other than that, things felt clean. They have pool towels which they allow you to take the beach which was great. The saltwater pool was also refreshing. Although the tile around it is extremely slick. The hotel is on an unpaved very bumpy road. We didn’t know it was such a journey getting there and how bad the roads were on the way in. Potholes half the size of your car, super narrow bridges across rivers, etc. And it’s a bumpy ride to surrounding restaurants, which we weren’t expecting coming from the north where roads were paved. Noise- dogs barking, street noise all night long like ATV, motorcycles passing by loudly. People walking and talking. We slept with a sound machine and still heard the noise in the night. Sunrise coffee was across the street (really good, but expensive). The bathroom windows in the two bedroom king suite don’t have curtains or blinds on them, so you wake up with the sun (5:45am) since your room gets so bright so early. This was different than other hotels we stayed at that had curtains that blacked out the room completely Thank you for a comfortable stay!!

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful, peaceful and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and having a kitchen was very convenient. What really made the difference was the hospitality. Jeffry and Oxchild were incredibly kind, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. They helped us organize activities, gave us great recommendations and made sure everything went smoothly, especially when it came to accommodating my grandmother. We felt genuinely well taken care of from beginning to end and would absolutely recommend staying here.

What can I say? This was the R&R that was much needed - secluded, sophisticated and sleek! Domo Nosaro is located on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, about 90 mins south of Tamarindo. The roads are lush with foliage - and the small stretch leading up to Domo is rough terrain, it is only for about 3 mins - and once you have reached the lodge, you will be well rewarded with its sheet beauty. Check in was a breeze (and in fact we were slightly early - and we were immediately welcomed and provided a room). A few small handy notes: (i) there is no elevator, so luggage has to be carried up - no worries though, as the helpful staff will lend you a hand; (ii) there is no onsite cafe - no worries because the Sunrise cafe and other choice eateries such as Pulpo, are literally a stone's throw away - and their food is on point; (iii) there is no TV because this is an eco-lodge designed for seclusion - no worries though as the wifi is strong and you will be instragramming every 5 seconds anyway! What you will see the spectacular lounge areas overlooking the salt water pool - the temperature is just right (neither warm nor cold - just superbly comfortable) - and pool and beach towels are provided. The rooms are luxurious in a Mediterranean style that truly makes you feel like you got away into the lap of luxury - and the windows overlook plants that are teeming with butterflies and birds! The sound of howler monkeys wakes you up in the morning - and time just flies...wish I had longer!
