Welcome to Villa Vela!

After years of being a guest in Nosara, Guiones we found the perfect beach spot. Our house is located as close as you can get to the beach while also being close to restaurants (but not too close where you get tourist congestion and noise). Everything in this house revolves around the oversized pool. You will be plunging in and out all day and have dinner beside its shimmering lights. The house is modern, clean and safe (gated and monitored by security). Everything you need for the perfect, easy stay!

The Space

Villa Vela offers you two incredibly comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and air conditioning. Perfect for you and your family, the house features two queen-size beds and one bunk bed, ideal for a family of up to 5. The master bedroom includes a stunning outdoor shower, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sounds of nature (birds and howler monkeys).

In the patio area, you will find an amazing garden with a pool perfect to relax, and enjoy sunny days. And if you are a foodie who loves cooking at home, you can enjoy a BBQ with fresh caught fish from Garza.

The fully furnished kitchen allows you to cook anything you would like or hire a chef, the house also has an outdoor dining table, illuminated by twinkling lights where you can have a nice cozy dinner. And the house also has a comfy living room where you can watch some TV, read a book or just relax!

Additional Amenities

Villa Vela is equipped with everything you need for a memorable stay. Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi to stay connected, a washer and dryer for your convenience, and ample parking space. The house also includes beach essentials such as towels, chairs, and umbrellas, making your trips to the nearby Guiones Beach even more enjoyable. Whether you're looking to surf, relax, or explore the vibrant local culture, Villa Vela is your perfect home away from home.

The property manager is available daily from 8 am to 5 pm and 5 pm - 8 am only for emergencies

While Costa Rica does have many of the conveniences you are accustomed to having at home, navigating a foreign country can feel a bit tricky. For that reason, we’re here to help curate your experience and itinerary to be the best it can be. From booking surf lessons and ATV tours, to arranging your rental car or shuttle, to organizing your private chef and massages, we’re here for you.

Security

Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the véry few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group, so we can take care of you, put you in the right house and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. Please feel free to inquire for more information. If not included, the property manager can arrange a dinner guard at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property.

Internet and Electricity
 
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There isno guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access always is crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card.Please note that the Homeowner nor the Property Manager has no control over these situations and no refunds or discounts will be offered for outages or interruptions to these services. If there's any problem with the Property, please report it to the Property Manager. 

Water 

During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs. 

Jungle creatures

We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay.Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).

Refunds

No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby. 

Insurance

We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.
