The English Whiskey Co which is 3 min drive offers tasting tours. Snetterton racetrack 8 min drive, 16 miles away is High Lodge and Go Ape. Other attractions in the area include Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens where you can hop on a steam train, admire Alan Bloom’s celebrated landscaped gardens, and even look round the Dad’s Army exhibition. The picturesque town of Diss is close by, with its stunning Mere and market.
To experience all that Norfolk has to offer, you really couldn’t be better placed as you can see the Norfolk Broads, and the coast within an hour. City lovers have certainly picked a great location as you can be in Norwich with its splendid Norman castle, or Bury St Edmunds with its famous abbey, within 35 minutes. Ely, with its cathedral, and Ipswich are within an hour. Take a trip to Southwold with its pier and painted beach huts. The village offers two pubs, a social club, post office, butchers, shop, a coffee shop and a fish and chip shop. Banham Zoo is a short drive away for fun-filled days out.
