  • A detached waterside cottage with delightful views and lawned garden, with boat hire available close by to cruise the River Bure.. All on the Ground Floor:

    Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

    Bedroom 3: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

    Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Lawned garden with verandah and garden furniture. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. Please note: Couples and family bookings only. The garden has an unfenced river frontage, and there are no mooring facilities available. Strictly no pets.. This detached cottage is ideally situated on a private dyke just off the main River Bure at Hoveton, near Wroxham and boasts delightful views, verandah with garden furniture and a large lawned garden. Wroxham, often referred to as ’the capital of the Broads’, is a short 5-minute stroll away, and offers a variety of shops and restaurants. The holiday cottage is superbly situated to explore the whole of the Norfolk Broads. From the village, hire a boat and take a leisurely cruise down the River Bure and enjoy the sights and sounds of the abundance of wildlife that reflect the natural beauty of the Broads, whilst admiring the pretty riverside cottages and gardens. For the more adventurous, Ranworth Broad is close by, where you can take a nature trail through woodland and marshland, and Sprowston Manor golf course (18 hole) is approx 5 miles away. Visit Norwich city with its excellent shops, pubs and restaurants and stunning cathedral. With its castle, churches, theatre and art galleries there is something for the whole family. For the enthusiasts, in season, fishing is available from the property (subject to a current licence being held). For those who just want to relax and take it easy, sit back and enjoy a refreshing drink on the verandah whilst admiring the view. Shops, pubs and restaurants are within 5 minutes walking distance.

This was our second visit to this property although the last was 10 years ago.

This was our second visit to this property although the last was 10 years ago. The owners have made improvements and local amenities have also improved. A great holiday location - with the added advantage of some fishing from the property. Excellent all round. We will be back - and we won’t wait 10 years this time. Locally there are many eating and drinking establishments as well as a really good supermarket and department store (Roys) all less than 10 minutes walk, and on a flat level surface.

This is a very nice cottage in a peaceful location. It is also in walking distance to the shops and local pub. There is plenty of wildlife visiting the garden. The owners are very friendly. We had a great time.

An excellent stay in a fabulous location.

An excellent stay in a fabulous location. Mr Tully and his family were very friendly and amenable and were on hand to give any help required without being intrusive. Wroxham is a great lace to stay, in the heart of the Broads with the city of Norwich and the coast both very accessible. Being able to fish from the back garden was a real bonus.

The Wiillows Wroxham

An exceptional bungalow, by the water. Very clean. Were greeted on arrival by very nice people with kettle boiling. Fishing was good. Had a lovely week. Short walk to he shops. Could not wish for a better place. Extremely happy will go again. Had an excellent meal at the Ferry Boat Inn Horning.
