This gorgeous cottage in East Ruston is in a rural and peaceful setting with a south-facing patio that overlooks the lake and is ideal for birdwatching and walking on Weavers Way. East Ruston vicarage gardens are in the village. Visit Stalham and Wroxham for the Norfolk broads, where you can see the boatyards, rent a boat, and explore the magnificent waterways filled with windmills and wildlife (both 10 miles). You are also in a good location for a quick drive to the coast. Sea Palling (7 miles) has a Blue Flag beach and grey seals, and Cromer (14.5 miles) has pier shows, amusements, restaurants, and pubs. Other nearby attractions include Bewilderwood (10.5 miles), Norfolk Steam Railway (20 miles) and Amazona Zoo (15.5 miles). There are various farmers markets nearby.


On entering the cottage through the hallway, you will find a good size open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner with a nice cosy feel. With its homely styling, this light and airy space has a welcoming feel. The lounge area has two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV to catch up on favourite programmes and is the ideal place to relax after a long day exploring the area. Patio doors open from the lounge area, extending the living space out onto the paved terrace. Prepare your meals in the modern kitchen, which has everything you need to cook up a sumptuous feast for all to enjoy around the dining table. Climb the stairs to two gorgeous bedrooms, one of which has a king-sized bed and the other twin beds, both with storage for your belongings. The family bathroom is also located on this floor.


The courtyard features a table with seats for four where you can have your morning coffee. You may also want to dine outside while soaking up the sun and admiring the lovely lake views. The property benefits from an abundance of wildlife including geese, swans, herons, and the occasional kingfisher and otter, fishing is permitted in the lake subject to obtaining a fishing license.
