"There's a lot to praise at Dunston hall and you'll read about that elsewhere. I just want to point out one defect in the hope that someone at Dunston Hall will see this and take some action to prevent it happening again. We ate at the brasserie on 3 evenings and the cooking was, with one exception, very good. The exception was on the last night when one of my hasselback potatoes turned out to be bad . "Good location, friendly staff, good room, food good but breakfast service somewhat inattentive. Would stay again. Carpets need cleaning in corridors. Lift very squeaky- needs attention. Overall 8/10"
