"The place is clean and quiet. Good getaway from the city. I booked with Expedia and as I was checking out. They charged me extra $ for cleaning fee. I did pay a good amount for a night and I’m surprised it wasn’t included in the first place. It also wasn’t mentioned when I was checking in, but I’m still giving a 5 star because it’s the best sleep I had in a long while. The staffing was super nice. "The hotel is very stylish and has a friendly feel. The room was very quiet and the beds comfortable. The AC didn't work that great and the room did not cool down sufficiently. The staff member at reception was kind enough to loan us a cooling fan. There is no provision for hot water for tea. Again, the kind staff member got us some from their kitchen. "Loved everything about this resort. I only wish it had been a bit warmer so we could have enjoyed the fire pit overlooking the ocean. Our room was cozy and warmed by a stove fireplace and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We were greeted with delicious cookies and a free glass of wine. More delicious bakery treats were available in the morning with coffee. I highly recommend a stay at this resort."

"Upon arrival it was a bit unclear where to go for check in. Room on the third floor without an elevator was a bit of a trek. Bed was like a board and quite uncomfortable. Very nice complementary mocktails were crafted in lieu of the complimentary glass of bubbles. Neighboring guests were noisy. Transportation back from town concluded at 9pm on a Thursday night, so we had to drive our own car. Coffee in the morning was delicious. Overall, it was nice, but for the cost we would likely not return...
