"Typical mid-range, rural conference hotel. Archaic procedures that required you to head to the reception every single time that you wanted to use fitness facilities or pool. Correct, if not very friendly service. Overpriced, but decent restaurant (besides the pub five minutes walk away, the only dining option around here). Hotel had just reopened after holidays so Wi-Fi wasn't functioning for the first 24 hours. Blimey."

"What a lovely place to stay. Olde World on the exterior - modern interior. Lots of storage, comfy bed, great bathroom, onsite and secure parking. Located in a village, a 5 minute walk from a grocery store. The kithenette included tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and milk. Appliances included an electric kettle, microwave and toaster. Quiet location, easy access. Highly recommended."

"Great room away from the pub itself. The accommodation was clean, and quiet in the evening. The pub shuts no later than 10. Lovely views of the canal. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance along the tow path, including a micro brewery. The White Hart sells amazing Indian food! We shared a pizza for lunch in the Narrowboat which was lovely. Staff helpful and friendly. Very dog friendly! Ubers are available if you want a trip out. They seem to be a bit more reasonable than the...
