Perfect for us

We had a great weekend. Garnet hills area is great for all seasons and this was convenient to Gore as well. House was perfect for 3 small families.

Great snow week at Garnersville

The house and accommodations were very accurate from the listing. Everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen and dining area was perfect for six adults and being right in GARNET HILL was a definite plus.

Great House Near Gore

We did a family ski trip to Gore Mountain (five adults, three young kids) and everything about this house was perfect for us.The location is fantastic and only a 15-20 minute drive to Gore and restaurants in North Creek. Despite being in a quiet and secluded area, the roads were well plowed from the snow so we had no trouble getting in and out.There was plenty of space in the house for everyone, a great room for relaxing by the fireplace, and the game room was a huge hit with the kids. The selection of board games was also a big plus. Check-in and communication with the property manager was easy too.This house has everything you need for a larger group, and we would definitely stay again next time we're in the area! Absolutely recommend!

Wonderful 13th Lake Home

We just completed our 5 day stay at this beautiful home on 13th Lake and it was awesome! Our group has been making an annual trip to 13th Lake for over 15 years and have stayed at this property for the last 2 and plan to stay here for many more! We have a big group of guys and this home works perfect for us. It actually does sleep 10-12 with individual beds and plenty of space for everyone. The new hardwood floors are beautiful and the home offers 5+ unique areas to hang out and spread out. The new grill was a big hit and gravel driveway proved a perfect location for cornhole matches during the day. The game room in the basement is huge and the deck offers plenty of space for large groups to enjoy the weather in the Adirondacks. The owner and property manager were very helpful with check-in and provided a great experience for all of us. We will be back next year and highly recommend the property to others!

Wonderful 13th Lake Home

We have rented many homes in the Garnet Hill Association at 13th Lake for an annual fishing trip over the last 10 years. This home was excellent and met our needs perfectly. The home is very spacious, comfortable and well appointed for just about anything you could need for an ADK vacation. There are plenty of beds to accommodate a large group without having to share a bed with someone else. Key when your fishing trip includes 9 guys. There were a couple of minor details that I'd recommend the home owner address. Especially given the rental price for this home is on the higher end of the range for this area. The grill is old, inefficient and not really acceptable for a home that advertises and charges for a large group of people. It is small and doesn't heat up well enough to cook steaks. The deck gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, which is great. However, the umbrella to the table was broken upon arrival and we had to fix is with stick and duct tape to make it usable. The home offers 1 canoe for renters to use. It is located at the lake which is great. However, for a home that advertises to accommodate 10 people, at least 2 canoes or a canoe and 2 kayaks should be considered. For the price, I think those changes would make the house even better and would deserve a 5 star rating. Overall, the home is very good, great location, great size and very comfortable.

Christmas Getaway

Perfect home for our family for Christmas. Plenty of space for time together or cuddling by the fire with a book. Great basement with ping pong and foosball. Just a mile walk to cross country trails and lodge. Nice ole time lodge feeling.

Great house!

We had a great time. We had 3 families with 6 kids total and there was lots of space. The kids loved the basement with the foosball table and ping pong table. We skied at Gore and had a wonderful time. The road to the house is a bit bumpy, but manageable. The house was cold, but we had a fire going most of the time we were there and that helped. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Gore mountain get away

Our friends have been getting together annually at a different mountain for 11 years. This year we chose Gore. The home was perfect for our group of 9. We do a Thanksgiving type dinner one of the nights and the kitchen was well equipped. Home was a short distance to the mountain. Very clean home and had plenty of games too for us to play. Will definitely recommend.

Perfect home for a group

We had four couples get together for a weekend of cross country skiing. The weather cooperated with fresh snow, the trails were perfectly groomed at Garnet Hill, and the house was comfortable and cozy. We had fires in the fireplace, plenty of seating and comfortable beds.
