    Sandtrap 7 is a three bedroom, two bath unit that sleeps up to 10 people. It is located on the upper level of a duplex, and is part of a larger property made up of ten individual cottages. You can rent just one cottage, or if you have a larger group such as a church group getaway or golfing retreat, you can rent all ten. This home is less than 100 yards from the beach, so you can spend your days soaking up the sun, sand, and surf. You can also have plenty of fun on the basketball and volleyball courts, and cool off in the swimming pool. This unit has four televisions, free wireless internet, and tasteful, light colored decorations. Complete with ceramic tiles and hardwood floors, you will have all the comforts of home, including a barbeque grill. This unit fills up fast, so make your reservation early, and get ready to come to North Myrtle Beach and experience all that the Grand Strand has to offer.

Good place

Convenient to the beach and everything else. We parked our vehicle and rented a golf cart to travel around Myrtle Beach and Cherry Grove. The cottage was nice and just as described.

Clean and Comfortable

This rental was clean and comfortable. We loved that it was so close to the beach and that we were able to have our puppy along with us for his first trip to the beach. The maintenance guy, Chris was super friendly and told us he’d be there if we needed anything (which we didn’t).

Sandtrap 7 was perfect for ten members of our group, with plenty of space and everything we could need. The Retreat Myrtle Beach staff are some of the nicest people and were very responsive to our needs.

Management was wonderful and fully accessible. The unit was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and i already have.

It's close to everything we enjoy doing. It states it will sleep 10, but that's about all 10 could do. There is not room for 10 to sit in living or dining area unless there are a lot of small children. The one bad thing about it is it's an upstairs unit .Stairs were slippery after dew and rain. I have no idea the price of an outdoor elevator, but I think it would make renting this easier. We had a very nice couple of weeks and did everything we wanted to do. It is always a pleasure to stay with Retreat Myrtle Beach.

Great place close to the beach!

We had a great time at Sandtrap 7! Loved the proximity to the pool, beach and to shops & restaurants on Main St. My only complaint is that some of the photos on the VRBO listing were for the downstairs unit, not for unit 7. We were confused about the amount of space and layout of the unit. I don’t think it is clear which photos were upstairs and which were in the downstairs unit. I understand they are rented together at times, but it would be nice if they were labeled more clearly. Despite the surprise of not getting the space as we saw it in the photos, we still were very happy with the unit and very comfortable in the space. And Jeanne answered all our questions promptly and thoroughly!

Great get away

The property was as listed. It was clean and spacious for our family of 9, a dog, and two cockatiels. Whew! We went down for my dad’s 87th bday on Thanksgiving weekend . It’s been yrs since we had a vacation together so it was nice to feel at home in a house together as opposed to a hotel. There was always hot water which is important when 9 people have to take showers. The table was able to fit all of us for thanksgiving dinner. The wifi password did not work but who doesn’t have unlimited data so that was not a problem for us. The beach was a 5 minute walk and it was as beautiful as expected. The kids were able to play outside with the different balls that were available like basketball, volleyball, and soccer. We weren’t able to use the pool due to the weather but it looked clean and inviting. The rules were common nothing crazy more like regular house rules. It was a very successful trip and i would definitely recommend this unit and book again. Thank you!!

Decent place

We had a night where someone parked in our parking spot and I tried to call the oncall property manager but never heard back from them. I had to park blocks away because there was no overnight parking lots around. I wish they left information on what to do if something like that happens. Another issue we had is for about 2 days the toilet didn’t have any water. When I spoke to the property manager she said it’s because they were filling the pool. Kind of odd that the toilet would not run when this happened. It was a big inconvenience because both time was after breakfast. Having to drive to the store just to use the rest during this time was not fun. I kind of wished they did something to make it right for us instead of just an apology both days. Overall the place was good enough. Just gave us a bit of a bitter taste in our mouth after the issues.

Reviewer Comments: When we arrived, the doors would stick, the railing on the back deck was dangerously wobbly, the refrigerator did not keep our food and drink cold, multiple outlets did not work, the tub did not drain leaving inches of disgusting water while trying to shower, sink barely dispensed water, and multiple blinds were broken. Despite all of this, the greatest disappointment was when confronting the lady working the desk of the rental office, she was neither understanding, nor apologetic. She only justified the damage that was made previously to our stay, and was not willing to compromise or hear me out.

Perfect location, spacious beautiful unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our stay here, quaint upstairs apartment. Kitchen is on the smaller size but no one comes to Cook at the beach. Dining table is huge and perfect for large family meal times and game night. Love the deck to the master bedroom out back!! Kids loved the basketball and volleyball courts. Only thing I’d add and it’s not on the unit but just for the area, be careful walking outside barefoot on the grass. There a weed spiky balls in certain grass native to this area. The property was clean manicured grass but there were many around the volleyball court and we all got pinged by these suckers, dog got one in his paw. The only downside but again it’s a native weed to SC, so be aware
