Crescent Dunes is a nonsmoking building situated along the widest portion of the beach, where you can spend your days collecting shells, listening to the waves, swimming, playing, and soaking up the sun. To experience the utmost in luxury during your North Myrtle Beach vacation, come to the Penthouse at Crescent Dunes. This three bedroom, two bath unit offers a sunny, luxurious feel. This penthouse not only offers breathtaking views, but also comfortably sleeps up to six people and is decorated in tropical beach décor. After you have had your seaside fun, you can relax in the oceanfront pool, barbeque on one of the grills, or just sit and read a fun book on the deck. If enjoying the Grand Strand has completely worn you out, you will be extra thankful for the elevator service and ample parking. You can enjoy flat screen televisions in the living room and all bedrooms, and free wireless internet will help you stay as connected as you wish to be. Come and enjoy all that North Myrtle Beach has to offer, and let Crescent Dunes be your home away from home. THIS BUILDING HAS A 35# WEIGHT LIMIT FOR PETS, AS WELL AS A 2 PET MAXIMUM PER UNIT.

March - November we rent Saturday to Saturday only, with the exception of last minute requests based on availability; please call our office if you need assistance.


We rent strictly to families and adults 25 and over only in this property. Family groups are defined as parents, grandparents, children and extended family members vacationing together in one home. We do not rent to house parties and/or groups including but not limited to fraternity, high school graduation, spring break from high schools or colleges, or other non family groups, to be determined at the sole discretion of Retreat Myrtle Beach. Violators of this regulation will be denied occupancy and will forfeit the full rental amount. In the instance that a non-family group is found to occupy a unit, the violation of the above rules shall be grounds for an expedited eviction with no refund. ABSOLUTELY NO HOUSE PARTIES ALLOWED.

Rates are based on beach location, property quality, condition, furnishings and the number of people the unit may accommodate. Errors in descriptions, rates and property amenities listed or advertised are subject to change without notice. Omissions and/or additions or errors as well as changes in property bedding, furnishings and equipment, etc., shall not be the responsibility of the agent or owner. Errors can happen for many reasons, however, our staff works diligently to ensure the accuracy of the information offered in both printed and website material. Retreat Myrtle Beach reserves the right to correct any error in pricing or description on this website. Misrepresented groups such as students/house parties posing as a family will be evicted and no monies returned .

Love Crescent Dunes!

This is our 3rd year vacationing in North Myrtle Beach, & 2nd at Crescent Dunes, & only because there wasn't anything available a few years back on the dates we were taking our Vaca that year. As long as there is availability, we plan on booking with CD again.

Cleanest Condo we ever stayed in👍

Everything was easy about this condo. Instructions were clear and accurate and the place was exactly as described. No surprises and no disappointments. Location was perfect, close to everything and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. Also I noticed everyone staying at the building was so friendly. I would highly recommend.

Rest easy, this condo was exactly as it appeared online. Even better actually, as the balcony was larger than it appeared. Clean. Beds were comfy. Beachfront. Comfortable sofa and chairs. No complaints.

Keep an eye on you fur baby

The property was nice and convenient to the places we like to visit. Just a tip- If you take your dog for a walk on the beach watch out for left over marijuana. Our little 7 pound dachshund ended up in ICU at the emergency vet 35 minutes away with marijuana toxicity. Very scary and we almost lost her. We ended up spending 24 hours there and spent a small fortune that we didn’t need to spend. The vet says she sees it a lot. People throw the end of the marijuana butt in sand dunes or the beach and dogs eat them. Keep a close eye on your pets!

Thanksgiving

We had a great time and the place was perfect and had everything we needed to enjoy Thanksgiving at the beach. The only drawback was that someone was smoking in the facility even though it is a no smoking building. You could really smell it if the sliders were open.

Clean!!!!!

First time staying at Crescent Dunes and with the rental company, the condo has been upgraded since the online photos were taken, which was a nice surprise! As soon as we opened the door it smelled clean and looked pristine!! I was worried since it is dog friendly, sometimes they stink, but you couldn’t even tell dogs stayed in it! Enjoyed our stay, although the elevator was a little slow and busy and it’s suppose to be smoke free property, but people were smoking on the balconies. I would stay here again!!!

Very nice

My only criticism is that it is listed as handicapped but bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. Had to lift an 160 lb male to commode. You need to disclose this. Other than that the stay was very pleasant.

Great Trip

We rented for one week and everything was beautiful and clean upon arrival. We have stayed in the same building for three trips. We love that this complex is on the smaller side. Only 24 units in the whole building. Building has six condo floors with easy parking right under the building. This makes loading and unloading super easy.

Amazing Vacation Experience

Great place for pet owners

Happy that they accommodate pet owners. Condo was as expected from photos. Location was great. Not a fan of the rigidity of their check in procedures. The internet was an issue, but the maintenance man answered after hours and helped to get assistance to correct it.

Great Vacation

Properties with Retreat Myrtle Beach at Crescent Dunes check all the boxes. Ocean front, elevator, pool, parking, washer/dryer, pet friendly with tile floors and beautiful accommodations. This low rise building offers a small group of people sharing the beach with you. This penthouse property balcony topped off the perfect week!

I was expecting the unit to show a lot more wear and tear than the pictures showed but was pleasantly surprised. It was decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and noise levels were not an issue. View of the beach and the large sheltered patio were perfect.

Spring get away🌴🏖🌴

We had an amazing time! Condo is exactly what you see in the pictures. Beds are extremely comfortable, beautifully decorated and clean. Kitchen could use some additional items, such as spaghetti strainer, decent potato peeler and possibly new folks. Nothing that took away from our stay, but several folks are all bent and not something anyone wanted to use, sort of looked like they were used to pry open something. That is about the only negative thing about this condo. View is excellent, top floor with unobstructed view of beach below. Wonderful breeze and great to spend time early morning sipping coffee or night cap at the end of the day. Pet friendly building and the area it’s self is accommodating to keeping your pet with you! Very quite area, not a lot of traffic seeing that your right on the beach. Our little Yorkie loved being able to walk the beach with us early mornings and after dinner! Need to note that from 5/15 - 9/15 pets are restricted to before 9 am and after 5 pm. To me that is understandable seeing it is their busy season, it really wasn’t a problem for us plenty of little side streets to take the dog for walks during those hours. Conveniently located to stores, restaurants, and just about anything else you would need. Short drive from the unit, but there is a little store just a couple of blocks away, for quick pick up items, ice cream shop and a few beach bars if you want to walk! They offer parasailing right on the beach a short walk from the condo. Can’t say enough nice things about our stay. My only issue other than the few things on the need for better utensils, is the check in process at the office. About 15 family’s waited in the parking lot for the office to open at 4. No one came to open the office for 4, but a women on the second floor came out and advised everyone the packets with what we needed was in the lock box out front!! That was about 10 past four! It really would have been easier for all of us if they had just advised us of that fact before hand. That packets are available for units but could not go to units prior to 4. We drove there first just to make sure we knew where it was, we could have picked up our packet at that time then went to find a place to eat and then did grocery shopping. That would have made it more convenient! I highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay right on the beach 🏖 Will stay again when traveling down in the Myrtle Beach area!
