This spacious retreat sleeps up to 14 guests, with each bedroom featuring its own en-suite bathroom for total privacy and relaxation. Whispering Pines

We had a good vacation with family and friends. The house was nice, with multiple refrigerators. The rental company was very considerate and kind. Our issue was with the owner. The owner was aware of a water leak, but no one told us. There was even a way to have it not leak, but again, we were not told. Therefore we had water leaking in the kitchen through a light in the ceiling.

Check in and check out was easy. We had to go without the big new tv in the living room but they made accommodations for us immediately. Would stay with them again in the future.

Whispering Winds

Nice house. Good room sizes. Laid out well. Clean. No issues. Only negative was that you actually had to use a key to access instead of a code therefore you had to keep track of it and physically go to the office to check in and out.

Beautiful Home

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful home to spend our vacation in. The house was immaculate, it had all the amenities with a beautiful pool, the kitchen had everything you needed. The location was perfect, as we were a short walk to the beach and IGA and there was fishing for our boys. We definitely look forward to spending our time in this house again, as we didn’t want to leave this year.

Great pool, updated home

Loved the saltwater pool, loved the updated kitchen. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we appreciated the plastic wine glasses. The Queen beds seemed more like fulls, and we’d recommend a second king in the upstairs bedroom. We also wish there were more beach chairs (just one) or beach umbrellas. The view is outstanding and the beach is a short walk. The landscape guys and property management company were so friendly!

Great Location

This was our first time staying in a house vs condo. This was a great location and had everything we needed for an amazing vacation. Some of the spaces in the home could use additional focus when the cleaning crew is working between renters.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, this was our first time staying here and it wont be the last. We had a lovely stay here, the heated pool was amazing for the kids after a long day on the beach. The location was just close enough to walk to the beach and the view of the marsh was nice as well. We had one issue with the pool drain coming off in the deep end of the pool and one of the bedrooms had a strange smell and these issues were handled promptly when reported to the rental company. Cannot wait to come back next year, thanks for sharing your beautiful home with our friends and family!

The bugs

This is a great place to stay, if you aren't scared of bugs! There were bugs visible every day! The dust had accumulated in some areas of the property and let's not talk about the disgusting toilet situation upon our arrival. The refrigerator smelt fishy. The property was nice and we did enjoy our stay because it had everything that we needed and it was so quiet and peaceful!

Nice location and great outdoor space with pool

We enjoyed our stay and the outdoor space from pool to basketball was greatly enjoyed. It is in a great location and close to the beach. The house, however, was poorly cleaned - dirt on rails and walls, dust on everything, generally not cleaned very well (e.g. bath baths not washed, etc.).

I was not as impressed with the cleanliness of this property as others have posted. Had to wipe out microwave before use. Floors could have used a good vacuuming and mopping. We rented a golf cart to get around and it was a great idea. Just beware that you do have to pay (download app) to park it on the street when going to the beach. It took us two $25.00 tickets to figure this out! Pool was a big hit.

The property location and the pool are the best things of this property. There were several things broken or not working in the house (air hockey, vacuums). The kitchen water faucet was not working when we arrived so for 2 days we did not have water in the kitchen. It seems if the housekeeper would have cleaned properly they would have known there was no water and had this corrected immediately. The freezer smelled like fish and was not properly cleaned and it also made the refrigerator smell of fish. We had to purchase baking soda to try and minimize the smell some. Towels were disappointing and there are no kitchen towels at all so be prepared by bringing or purchasing. One pot holder in the kitchen. Overall we made due and had fun just disappointed with some things and would expect more from what we paid.

The house was nice, but the fact that it said it slept 14 and there was no sheets for the twin beds (day bed & couch bed) we had to go buy them was disappointing. Also, I have rented many beach houses and they all always supplied beach or pool towels which this one did not so we had to purchase those as well.

Great house and location!

We stayed at Whispering Palms for 4 nights in early April. This house is in a great location, walkable to the beach and restaurants. The house is a newer property and has a lot of upgraded amenities. We paid to get the pool heated but unfortunately the weather was only in the 60’s to mid-70’s while we were there so the pool temperature was on the cooler side (even though it was heated, the temperature and ocean breeze made it feel cooler). However, it didn’t stop the kids from going in and having fun (the water was probably 84 degrees at the surface). The pool goes from 3 feet to 5 1/2 feet in the deep end. The house has 2 bedrooms on the top floor with a loft at the top of the stairs that features a pull out sofa, daybed, and TV (perfect for a play space for elementary/middle school kids...just remember to bring blankets for those beds as is stated in the listing). The other 2 bedrooms upstairs have their own bathroom inside each room and both have access to the patio in the front of the house. The main level has 2 bedrooms off the kitchen (one bedroom has a bathroom in it and the other has the bathroom right outside of it as that can be used by any guests). The kitchen has everything you would need, keurig, pots, pans, silverware, bowls, wine glasses, etc. We loved hanging out on the back porch as you can see the pool, small lake, and ocean. The patio around the pool has plenty of seating and a charcoal grill...it is truly an amazing entertaining space. My kids loved the swings underneath the porch (there is also an outdoor shower and a separate bathroom located where you park your car). Overall...great experience and would definitely go there again!
