"I did not know exactly what to expect from this B&B. It surpassed all my expectations & then some. The first thing upon arrival at this one-of-a-kind property is to be greeted warmly by the property owners, Al & Annette. These are super sweet people who were put on this earth to deliver some serious hospitality. They are professional hosts by which all others should be measured. "Beautiful setting and lovely accommodations. I loved that they provided life jackets and free use of kayaks, paddle boards and canoes. The kids loved the field to play games and the dock on the water was great for jumping into the lake. The frog pad was a big hit and kept them occupied! The fire in the evening was great, even though we had to put the kids to bed and didn't get to spend much time there. We did not use the restaurant, but maybe next time! We plan to return."

"Unless you really need a place to stay in Haliburton, avoid this place. This 'resort and conference centre' appears to be abandon - the grounds are over-grown and looks like a post-apocalyptic film set. When I booked the room through Expedia, the property sent me a note stating that the outdoor pool and the restaurant were closed, and the cable TV was down. They claimed 'they were busy working on restoring it.' I thought that meant the power went down briefly, not 'we haven't had those services...

"We stayed in the Dome and had a fantastic weekend. The Dome is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Harsha our host went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and special as possible. The hotel is in a beautiful location near lots of nice restaurants and hiking trails. As a bonus lots of very tame deer like to walk around the hotel which is great for photo opportunities. We will definitely return here!"

"there was no hot water and when asked about this the lady at reception said she will let her husband know once he is back after 9 am ! the building is super old , washroom are shared between rooms , NO air condition ! there was a $50 resort fees ... FOR WHAT ??? we paid about $185 per night"
