"It’s a no frills stay but the room is clean, quaint, and cutely decorated. Check in/check out are efficient. Perfect location within walking distance of restaurants and shops. We hope the bar next door reopens soon. "

"We stayed in a 2 bedroom and the room was incredible. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the property itself was clean with nice outdoor area. The only downside for our stay was that the heated pool was freezing. Staff worked immediately to get it fixed. On day two we were told it was fixed but it was still cold so may have needed more time. Hot tub was great though. Will definitely come back and look forward to enjoying the heated pool...

"Room was decent, everything was clean. There is no parking. The parking in front is limited to 3 hrs and the next closest lot is another hotel. This should be noted or at least best parking in for should be added."

"I stayed for one night. Staff were very kind, allowed me to check in early as my room was ready. I had done some crabbing that am and they have a shed in back for cleaning and cooking the catch. Needs a little upgrade but the basics were there and a nice touch. Beach was close, about a five minute walk. Room was well appointed. Really my only complaint—or recommendation—would be to place lamps on the side tables in the bedrooms. "

"Older motel, thin walls and floors so you hear everything from other guests. All night plumbing sounded like it was coming through the ceiling. Some guests up 6 or 7 times at night. Broken chair and no hot tea. Would not recommend. Thought we had booked one of the cabins but apparently booked a room. Website deceiving. Would not stay there again."

"I read several bad reviews about this place, but my family and I had a great experience. I knew going into it that I booked a 2-star hotel, so I wasn’t expecting a luxury suite. Our one-bedroom room w/kitchen was very spacious - like a small apartment - had all the amenities I needed, was clean, and my kids enjoyed the indoor pool quite a bit. Don’t confuse old with dirty. It might be a bit rundown, but everything worked properly, room was quiet, and the beds were comfy…that’s all I really...

"The room was very clean; we were able to keep warm b/c the heater worked properly in combination with the ceiling fan. Would not want to be here at peak summer b/c there is no A/C. There was no coffee service or breakfast during our stay. They might consider distributing coffee makers to guests upon check-in; they hold take a c/c security hold, so why not issue coffeemakers? The tub drained slowly so that was a little annoying. Other than that, parking was right outside and property was quiet. "
