The kitchen was fairly well stock, HVAC worked great, host was easily reached for questions, and it was quiet. The best thing was going to the blind well before sunrise and listening for the Sandhill Cranes waking up and flying off in many waves of birds. The same at sunset as the birds came back ...

We just made a quick stop overnight, but this place was delightful. Clean, cozy, smelled incredible. The host was very kind and made everything easy. Definitely recommended if you're coming to the area.

This tucked away house on the Platte River is the perfect location to host your Sandhill Crane adventure. Short travel to Rowe Sanctuary, Crane Trust, Plautz viewing deck and the corn fields that hold the birds. A lovely home that has scenic views and provides upscale amenities.
