"My husband and granddaughter hiked part of the Ouachita Trail. While they were hiking I became quite ill while staying in the Joplin Inn. The staff were kind and helpful. They live their faith. We are grateful for their thoughtfulness!"

"Everything was perfect for us. The owner communicated well and personally, both in advance of our visit and during our stay. The condo itself was immaculate, and very clean. The back patio onto the lake was just lovely. The condo is very well equipped - the kitchen had everything you could ever need, there was a great selection of snacks, and great local info brochures. They even had eclipse glasses and posters for us. It all felt very welcoming and comfortable; perhaps our best VRBO ever!"

"Great hotel to spend a couple of days, there are several activities you can do in the lake , I stayed for 1 night , I could have easily pushed for 2-3 nights"

"We love that the property is clean and peaceful and the folks are friendly. The coffee is fresh every morning and amazing! We come at least once a year. What we didn’t like was discovering there is a charge for plate sharing at the restaurant!!! I did not even know that was a thing! And if you plan on getting anything to go, be prepared to be charged for every plate a service charge. Other than that, I absolutely love this place! And we will be back!"

"There was no daily housekeeping, even though it was promised at check-in.The queen bed was the smallest queen bed I've ever seen. Breakfast was very low quality. We won't go back. "

"For an establishment that calls itself a resort it was horrible. We showed up earlier than check in time to verify the reservation and when we showed up to check in we had to wait 20 minutes. They should have had our room ready. Additionally there were zero amenities in the room. Nothing in the bathroom for showering, and not even an ice bucket. No refrigerator, no microwave, and the hallway on the 3rd floor leaked as it rained. I would advise people to avoid this place and book elsewhere....

"Absolutely the most magical stay, clean, comfy, secluded. The bed was incredibly comfy, kitchen came well equipped w/ coffee. Can’t say enough positive things about this gorgeous gem , Starlight Haven. We will be returning asap. "

"A trustworthy and clean space each time I've stayed, 2 times now at the Joplin Inn, once in the harbor north cabins. I prefer the inn as it's convenient and right off the highway. They also offer an area in the back to wash any crystals that you might mine. 😊"

"Free parking, although it was a tight parking lot. Gym was nice. Breakfast was good but there was not enough seating for guests during breakfast hours. 2 bedroom suite was FANTASTIC for a large family (8)! Great stay overall"
