"It was an okay stay overall. The room was clean, and the owner/receptionist was very charming and helpful. However, the bathroom fan did not work, there was no shampoo in the room until we asked for it, and the bed made some noise because it was not well attached. The breakfast was very basic: only one coffee and one muffin, not a self-service breakfast. Overall, it was acceptable, but there are a few things that could be improved."

"The high rating is well-deserved. My room was clean and cozy. I appreciated that it came with a full-sized fridge and freezer. Bathrooms looked very newly renovated and were bright and spotless. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"I will start with needs improvement- the driveway goes on an angle uphill so the parking area isn't visable from the hwy. The parking area does not have much room if you are hauling a trailer or a camper or could NOT accommadate a transport truck. Maybe this would be better in the summer, but during the winter with snowbanks it was difficult to maneuver. We rented a room with two beds, three adults. Unfortunely the room was set up for two people. So towels, facecloths, coffee mugs were short for...

"I was working from the hotel for 3 days. Housekeeping never checked to see if I needed clean towels or coffee. I had to go down at night and ask. I dropped my earring on the bathroom floor, when I knelt down there was 3 dirty towels and a bandaid under the vanity. There is no one at the front desk till 8am if you need anything and the restaurant isn't even open for breakfast or coffee. On the positive side, the room was modern."

"Rooms are clean. Everything is a little older. It could take a little update, but overall I liked it. It was a bed to sleep in a pillow to rest my head on on my journey back to my family. The Staff was good polite got me checked in quick and got my key so I could go clean up and go to bed. Get some rest for the next day. You will hear a bit of a train because the trestle bridge is next to the hotel but for me it wasn’t too annoying at night. The Staff made sure I was parked in the proper parking...

"The Ambassador is a charming motor lodge a la the 50’s. Lovely green space and they take pups. I will definitely be back. Stay here and dine at Giovanni’s for super Italian food. Recommended by the charming host. She is delightful. "
