Watch the sunset, wildlife, or look up at night and see the stars close up between all the birch trees and tall pines. Cook in a gourmet dream kitchen or sit and relax in front of the home’s indoor flagstone fireplace. Serve your guests on the sunny 2-level deck with fireplace, soak in the hot tub, or grill on the wrap around screened-in porch. Extremely large and spacious master suite which is off a sunroom and deck with sliding glass doors outside.

Family Vacation 2024

Our entire family, including 5 grandkids aged 14 years to 4 months. Had a great week of boating, tubing, gaming, and just hanging out. The house is beautiful and large enough to be comfortable. Rich was a great host!

Great Summer Vacation Home

A beautiful property, and is a really large home. Property owner very easy to work with. My family of 10, loved the kitchen and the large dining room. House was extremely well supplied, and had excellent appliances throughout the house. We all throughly enjoyed our stay at Starry Pines.

Family Week

Very nice home with nice furnishings. Kitchen was well furnished and big enough for multiple people helping with meal preparation. House has large living space for group gatherings. Beautiful lakeside setting with large pine trees. Excellent dock that proved to be a great fishing spot! Grandkids were entertained catching sunfish and also some very nice bass. We had a wonderful week with our extended family.

Fam Bam 2024

All the comforts of home provided. Well equipped kitchen and baths. Lake toys and fire pit equipment including a s’more kit. A rented pontoon docked nicely at the pier. Family of 13 had a fantastic week!

Starring Pines

Had a wonderful family vacation with 12 of us at Starring Pines for the second time. House has everything you need. Our grandkids loved the dock area, firepit, and roomy space inside the house. We like Lake Margaret area because it has less boat traffic and its close to restaurants.

Lake Margaret- Starry Pines

A beautiful lake house with lots of space for a large family. If there were blinds for the glass walls in the art and office as well as the exercise room upstairs, it would be a great improvement. Overall, everyone in our family loved this house!

Wonderful Property

Twelve of us (7 adults and 5 children) stayed at Starry Pines for one week. Very beautiful and spacious house on Lake Margaret which is more quiet and secluded yet has nearby access to main Gull Lake through a channel that also has Zorbaz and Bar Harbor restaurants and a marina that rents pontoons at a reasonable price. We had a great time in the water by the dock, fishing, hot tub and a large fire pit area by the lake. Host is very responsive. This house has it all. We already booked our week for summer 2023.

The 4th of July

Our stay at Starry Pines was fantastic. For our family of 5 adults and 3 children it has something for everyone. Plenty of room indoors and out for everyone to be together or have some space to themselves. Our favorite was the fire pit by the lake, we used it every night!

SPECTACULAR STAY

We had 4 generations celebrating birthdays, and fathers day last weekend. There really was something for everyone from Fishing, Boating, Jet Ski-ing, card games, ping pong, paddle boards and more. The accommodations were fantastic as well we had 13 family members and still had an abundance of space for those who had to work while there, do yoga, meditate, and even get indoor exercise! My daughter and son -in-law are renovating their house and she is stealing/borrowing many ideas from the kitchen set up, office, and bathrooms. The home was beautiful with water toys to play with as well. The owners were very responsive reaching out to us to make sure we where comfortably settled and had what we needed. I could easily live in this home! The design, furniture, and extras really made it perfect. The dock location and design allowed those who didn't want to be on the water, just sit on the dock and enjoy the view. I could go on and one but I don't want to run out of space. Suffice it to say - if the owners will allow us to return next year, we will be there!

Magical Moments

This was the perfect place for our family of nine (6 adults & 3 pre-schoolers) to gather and celebrate all the special occasions we missed due to Covid. Three separate bedroom areas provided privacy for each family, and there was an abundance of family space for everyone to gather for meals, movies and games. The stunning beauty of the interior was matched only by the view of the lake and the amazing outdoor gathering spaces. The kids’ playhouse was an added bonus and a real treat for the little ones. The swimming area was perfect for keeping an eye on the kids and staying cool. Every amenity we could imagine was provided, including a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, which we took full advantage of. The hosts were gracious and incredibly responsive. We will definitely recommend Starry Pines to our family and friends!

Beautiful Property

We really enjoyed our stay at Starry Pines. The home is beautiful with many features that made it special. The kitchen was awesome and had room for many “cooks” working together at one time. We really took advantage of the craft/office as some of our group had to work part of each day. Love the location! Lots of places close by to walk, bike, and dine. Lake Margaret is a hidden gem where you are out of the traffic of Gull Lake, yet easily accessible. So whether someone wanted to paddle board, gather for game night, fish, work, or just relax, this home worked well for our family.

Incredible lake house

Hard to beat this location on a quiet lake and the overall quality of the house. Owners were incredibly helpful, size of house gives everyone plenty of room, and close to all the top spots. Coming back if they will host us!
