"Polite, attentive, and exceptional all around!
For me, excellent service and politeness are the most important things when traveling, and Elger Hotel and Spa exceeded every expectation.
The service here is truly world-class, and everything else about the hotel is exceptional. From our late arrival to the breakfast team, room service, and the bar staff making cocktails for my partner and me, every single staff member was incredibly polite and attentive. They immediately helped with everything,...

"For relatively new building rooms are not maintained very well. I had to change 3 rooms on my stay of 7 days. The 1st room, the toilet seat was completely broken, the 2nd room was smelling mold and was visible on the wall. This is a health hazard but the management didn't care to rent it. The 3rd half of the ceiling lights were not working. Electric outlets were bad only one working properly."

"Start with the good, property was clean minus ants in the room and other random bugs. Beds were comfortable. There was a breakfast sort of.
The not so good -the listing shows breakfast buffet but there is not one. There is also no phone in the room to order breakfast. They also don’t answer the phone when you try to order breakfast so you must go downstairs to order for them to bring back upstairs to you because there is no public dining area. We also booked for two people but were told...

"It was such a joy to return to Ethiopia after 23 years! I left when I was just nine years old, and for my homecoming, I chose Skylight Hotel. I’m so glad I did!
The staff were amazing, and the hotel was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming. Ethiopia has certainly changed from the country I remember, but this experience made my return even more special.
I travel quite a bit, and I can confidently say this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the location to the exceptional...

"Overall, this is one of the better hotels I have stayed at in Addis Ababa. The staff are excellent, the hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and breakfast offers a good variety of choices. However, there are a few areas that need attention to bring the hotel up to the standard its other facilities and services suggest.
The parking garage is quite tight, making it difficult to enter and exit comfortably. Improving the accessibility and maneuverability of the parking area would be helpful....
