Old town charm meets modern Parisian chic at Moulin-sur-Mer. A beautiful, newly renovated, spacious, air-conditioned, WIFI equipped, three bedroom, two bathroom luxury apartment that comfortably sleeps six guests.

Moulin-sur-Mer is ideally situated in Nice’s historic Old Town, with cafes, Provençal markets, and al fresco dining nightly, and less than 5 minutes stroll to the azure-blue Mediterranean beaches that border the famous Promenade des Anglais. It is also conveniently close to Nice’s airport shuttle bus, tramway and SNCF train stations.

Located on Rue du Moulin, a quiet pedestrian street, and situated on the third floor of a traditional Niçoise Old Town building. The apartment has just been completely renovated and refurbished by a Parisian, now Nice based, Interior Designer Severine Pilot. Care has been taken to preserve its beautiful traditional features such as marble mantle places and ornate cornices while transforming the apartment into a designer home away from home. The apartment has featured in both Art & Decoration and Marie Claire Maison, 2 of the biggest French interior design magazines. Moulin-Sur-Mer benefits from being flooded with natural light through its many traditional Niçoise shuttered windows and from having a lovely wraparound balcony on which you can enjoy an aperitif while watching the world go by in the little French square below. Staying in this apartment you will be in the heart of it all, yet maintain great privacy and intimacy.

Moulin-sur-Mer offers you a gourmet Italian kitchen with Bosch appliances, complete with a Nespresso machine and dishwasher, comfortable beds with luxury white linens and an inviting dining area where you can enjoy cooking up a feast using fresh ingredients from the local Provençal market.

The apartment has high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TV with 165+ channels and Netflix, TV Samsung Ultra HD Display, 40″ Screen, Smart TV, Smart Hub, DVD/Blue Ray player and a Bose SoundTouch™ 20 Series II Wi-Fi® music system. We also provide beach towels and someone to welcome you and show you around (concierge service).

Location, Location, Location! This is Old Town Nice so expect historical buildings etc., the stairs are a bit of a challenge but the apartment is great, we loved sitting on the small balcony ( really only 2 can sit on balcony) and enjoyed watching the world go by! Short walk to fresh market and beach. We were there 5 weeks and it was very comfortable. Host is amazing and always available to help.

Perfect spot

My family and I spent 5 nights in this fantastic apartment. It has a wonderful location, and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We were traveling with my one year old daughter so I was worried about how quiet the rooms would be, but the whole space was surprisingly sound proof. We could watch a movie in the living room and hardly hear her singing in her bed. It was a wonderful trip and I can’t recommend this property enough!

Family visit in winter

Our family of 4 (parents and 2 adult daughters) stayed for a week here in January and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is very well located in the old town, near restaurants, cafés, the Promenade des Anglais, beach and also the tramway.

5 Days in Nice

Couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more at Carls Apartment. We stayed for 5 days of a 10 day France trip. Nathalie met us at the apt exactly at check in time and showed us around as well as answering our questions on things to do, travel options, etc. When you first walk in the hallway it definitely lives up to “old town nice” but once you make it up the stairs to the 3rd floor it changes. The Apt is very modern and well furnished. There are 3 bedrooms and each has its own climate control, which is very convenient. The washer and dryer are small but do the job. The apt was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There is 1 TV in the living room and had Netflix, Amazon Prime and found a few English news channels. Carl left a book with everything explained in detail (with pictures) on how to use the appliances, TV, and stove which made everything easy. Anytime we had any questions, Carl was quick to respond. The location is right in the middle of old town and everything is right there. The only negative was the train station is a good 15-20 minute walk unless you take the tram but it’s a safe walk and plenty of stores and scenery along the way. The beach is only a few blocks away and there is a huge daily market there that we went to every morning for fresh croissants and fruits. Less than an hour from Italy and Ventimiglia is definitely worth a day trip. We have done quite a few rentals and have to say this was one of our most enjoyable trips and Carl was a great host.

Beautiful Apartment

The apartment was beautiful. It was also in a great location and made it easy to get to restaurant and beach. Located in Old Nice, which was beautiful. The apartment had many amenities, that made our stay comfortable. Our only complaint was Apartment was located in the 3rd floor and made it a challenge with luggage since the stairs were the only option.

Old Town Gem

Lovely refurbished apartment in old town building. Very central, AC in every room, good showers. Steps from shops, restaurants, tram, beach. Things to note; it’s up 3 flights of stairs, and at a busy pedestrian intersection, but once windows closed at night there’s little background noise. Great communication.

Lovely stay in a great apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nice in the lovely apartment, which was well equipped and had very comfortable beds. The air conditioning was invaluable in the very hot weather. The location of the property was super, so close to the daily markets, the sea, the promenade, the tram, trains and buses, The only thing we won’t miss is the 3 flights of stairs, but they will have done us good ! Gem in the Old Town

The apartment was wonderful. It was in a great location, nicely-decorated, well-equipped, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The balcony was great for enjoying morning coffee and evening wine and just watching the world go by. Our arrival was quite delayed due to flight issues but Carl kept in constant contact, graciously met us at 1 am and took time to carefully explain the apartment and give us ideas for things to do and places to go. When we lost wifi mid-week, he cut short a bike trip to come and fix it for us. We are so glad to have found this gem in the old town!

Fantastic apartment

The location was perfect. The apartment was clean and well appointed. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a stay in Old Nice. We enjoyed our time there and it was conveniently located near bus and metro. We used public transportation throughout our stay. The check in and check out process was very easy and accommodating.

First, communicating with the renter is easy and responsive. Check in was easy and renter is super nice. The apartment is fantastic. Super clean. Nicely updated. Great find! We would love to come back!

We stayed for almost a month, 3 adults, 2 kids. The setup was very comfortable, beds are comfortable, location is great, right in the middle of everything. Apartment has high speed internet (I worked remotely with big files and speed was not an issue at all, I think apartment has 6G network). The hosts are amazing, super responsive, very helpful, gave us great suggestions on the things to do/see and places to go. Everything is very comfortable and tastefully done. I definitely recommend and would love to come back. It was our home away from home. We didn’t want to leave.

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Old Town

We had a lovely stay at Carl's apartment in Nice. Prior to our arrival, Carl's communication was prompt and clear. He was able to recommend a great babysitter for our one-year-old that we used throughout the trip. He met us upon arrival and helped us carry our bags and settle in. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We had everything we needed for ourselves and our son for our two week stay. We especially appreciated the A/C during a heatwave that came with our arrival. The location is fantastic--close to all of the attractions of old town and a tram stop. We went out to dinner most nights at the great restaurants nearby (especially recommend Bar des Oiseaux, right around the corner). For our son, we appreciated being so close to a wonderful playground and splash park. There is some street noise at night, but the soundproofing on the windows is good. And you will get a workout with the 4 flights of stairs, but it felt worth it for us. We would definitely recommend this great apartment and host!

Schöne Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Gut ausgestattete Wohnung, die ideal in der Altstadt liegt. Gutes Entertainmentsystem und gutes WLAN. Durch sehr gute schallisolierte Fenster findet jeder seine Ruhe. Wer das Stadtleben sucht, der findet es direkt vor der Haustüre. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter.

Très bel appartement dans le vieux Nice

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans l'appartement très accueillant de Claire et Carl. L'appart est très bien décoré et parfaitement bien situé. Il offre un point de départ à de nombreuses découvertes dans cette magnifique région (îles de Lerins, parc de l'Estérel, tour du cap Ferrat...). Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
