Charming french style in Old Town, renovated, A/C

  • The apartment (located in a completely renovated 18th century building on the rue du Marché, Old Town) based is around 42m2 and includes a living room with american kitchen as well as a separate bedroom and a bathroom with toilet and shower.

    The apartment is charming, very bright (4th floor), well equipped and all conveniences are next door. Rue du Marché is one of the most typical street in the Old Town, close to Cathédrale Sainte Réparate, Place de Rossetti. Get a feeling of the local lifestyle in our cosy apartment.

    Kitchen fully equipped with:
    oven, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, etc...
    Living room with table, chairs, sofa, seat...
    Bedroom with a queen size bed
    . There is an sleeping option for a 3d person (on a sofa). The apartment is decorated in a charming french style furnitures, which makes a very cosy atmosphere.

    Rue du Marché is right in the centre of the old town. You will find many local restaurants and delicatessen stores next door as well as markets (Cours Saleya 150m), bakeries… Cathédrale Sainte Réparante and Place Rossetti are at 100m
    . Seaside: 250m

    Strong and modern WiFi is also suitable for home-office.

    Please be aware that as many typical houses in Old Town it has NO LIFT. The stairs are very easy, the stairwell is comfortable, clean and with a daylight.
    Please tell us at least one day in advance if you wish to use the washing machine (otherwise the room will be closed).

lovely and cosy place

we came here for the second time because we loved the place so much last year the appartement is pretty and offers everything we need. the bed is XL and very comfortable to sleep like heaven and stay in bed in the morning to have coffee and newspapers.loved it again!

Fantastic Apartment and Location

Fantastic location in Nice

Live as a local. The location cannot be beat. Close to the beach and surrounded by fantastic restaurants and shops in Old Nice. The apartment is cute and comfortable. We would absolutely come back.

Cute and nicely maintained. Great building in Nice oldtown...near all the action but quiet and pleasant inside. Five flights of stairs up. No problem if you are in good shape, but something to be aware of!

Good Stay

This was a really good place to stay. Place was very nice and a quick walk to the promenade d’anglais. Ideal place in the heart of old nice. Can get a little noisy especially at night. And walking up the stairs with luggage (depending how much you have can be a beast). Other than that, nice place at a decent price!

Old town, Nice such beautiful charm, restaurants, and shopping steps away, the beach and Boardwalk about five minute walk. Comfortable king size bed. Take note that there are 92 steps up to the adorable apartment with no lift. Pack lite.

Excellent location and apartment! 5 stars!

We loved staying here. It’s in a great location in old town, it’s within a few minutes walking distance to a secure parking facility if you have a car and the apartment is perfect for a short stay! There are 4 flights of stairs since there’s no elevator, but that common for being in such a great location in old town. It was no problem for us. We would definitely come back and stay here next time we visit.

We enjoyed it so much! Absolutely lovely and cosy apartement in the narrow little streets (pedestrian zone) in the old town of Nizza, just a few minutes to the sea. 4th floor - light and fresh air through the windows. Slept so well in this heaven of a bed! Friendly, nice and helpful lady to answer all our questions. Loved it. Will come back!

Comfortable and perfectly located apartment

We enjoyed our five days here very much. The 4th-floor walk-up (5th floor by U.S. counting) will not be for everyone, but it was fine for us, even in our 70s. The apartment is located on a lively, narrow street in the Old City, but at this level and with double-paned windows to close at night, it is completely calm, which is very important for us. Everything is as pictured and works properly, and the bed is quite comfortable.

Magnifique! Perfect apartment in a perfect location.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this charming apartment in Vieux Nice. We had everything we needed, including a full kitchen (with oven, stovetop, and dishwasher), a washing machine, a great shower, and a comfortable bed. And we were right in the heart of the city, with excellent restaurants (of various ethnicities), shops, the Marché aux Fleurs, landmarks, and tram stops all nearby. We were met at the apartment by the delightful host. We also highly recommend this apartment for your next stay on the Côte d’Azur. As others have mentioned, you climb 4 flights of steps to the apartment, but we managed them without difficulty and we’re in our 70s.

Wonderful stay! October 2022

Great apartment in a wonderful location! Clean, tastefully decorated and very well organized. At this point in our trip laundry was an absolute must, so we greatly appreciated use of the clothes washer, the heated towel rack in the bathroom and the additional folding clothes rack. It all worked well. As expected, lots of stairs to access the apartment! Would have loved to have a microwave in the kitchen, but realize space is tight. Convenient to Opera tram stop.

Perfect stay in Nice

We had a marvelous time in Nice in this apartment. It was easy to find with clear instructions for getting the keys. The apartment was impeccably clean and looks exactly like the photos. Everything worked perfectly (though we did not fully use the kitchen to cook while we were there). It is up four easy flights of a wide staircase with long treads and short rises. It's right in the middle of Vieux Nice, teeming with restaurants and shops with easy access to the tram. Elena was responsive and especially patient when we needed to return a set of keys after our departure. We won't even look anywhere else when we return to Nice.

Nice stay in Nice

Apartment was in a great location and very clean and well appointed. Good layout. The host provided timely and detailed communication about our stay. The 4th floor stairs will not be for everyone. Guests may also note that the sofa bed is only suited for young children, not adults. The air conditioning didn't cool very well, but was better than no AC as it was very hot and humid on the upper floor location. Ideally we would have liked a few more towels for a 4-day stay, but overall this was the best VRBO during our 2-week France trip. Thank you!
