  • A classically chic 3rd floor, 1 bedroom apartment in the heights of the Old Town. Paying homage to Brigitte Bardot and her golden locks, this light-filled apartment will certainly turn heads. Situated in a secure and quiet courtyard not far from the buzz and the magic of the Vieille Ville, Brigitte will seduce you into taking some time out, kicking off your blues and enjoying the delights of the Côte d’Azur.

    Brigitte spoils you with a balcony on both sides. A small one off the bedroom overlooks the inner courtyard and up to the trees on the Colline du Chateau and, a larger one off the living room looks down onto Rue de la Croix with its distinctive church tower and has chairs and a table for alfresco dining

    Bedroom
    The bedroom looks out onto the courtyard and so offers a peaceful nights sleep in the king sized bed (160×200). There are reading lamps, wardrobe space, a small balcony and the added luxury of reversible air-conditioning to keep you the right temperature whatever the season!

    Bathroom
    Both elegantly tiled in white with beautiful period windows, a separate shower room and toilet give your extra convenience. There is storage space and an illuminated vanity cupboard in the shower room.

    Living area
    The spacious living/dining area has two French windows opening onto a balcony. A cosy L-shaped sofa, armchair and coffee table provide an area to relax in and there is a circular dining table to seat four. This open-plan area has wooden floors, lots of light and air, a TV with French and English news channels, DVD, music system, Apple TV, Google Chromecast as well as a Bose sound bar for the TV and via Bluetooth for personal music from any phone or tablet. There is High speed Fiber optic internet.

    The kitchen is fully equipped to please a holiday chef should you decide to dine at home. It has an electric oven with 4 hobs, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, cafetiere, microwave and kettle.

We enjoyed our stay at Brigitte. It was close to shopping, restaurants and the tram. The apartment was clean, bright and spacious for the two of us. I did like have a washing machine in the apartment. The king size bed is nice but not quite as plush as I have found in the US. The kitchen has a good assortment of kitchen needs but no salt or pepper.

Just a fabulous little gem

Everything we could want as our home from home for a week. Great location in the Old Town for just about everything. Remarkably quiet too. Easy access for shops, bars, restaurants and public transport. Thoughtful touches with up to date guide books of the area, board games, Nespresso coffee machine and filter coffee machine plus a bottle of fizz for our arrival. Lots of storage too. Would definitely stay here again if we visited Nice

Faith greeted us at our arrival and answered so many questions. She sent me map links to local places. We were relieved to have a washer after traveling a week before we arrived in Nice. The area was safe and close to everything you would need. It was a heat wave so hot walking up 3 flights but the bedroom and living area each had a spilt AC unit which worked well. It was a great apartment we would rent again. The bed was listed as a king, which is why I chose it, but it was not a king. Other than that, absolutely lovely in every way!

Great location in Old Town

The apartment is very clean and well appointed! We enjoyed the location in Old Town. The entry is a little rough with no hallway lights up the multiple flights of steps, leaving the entry a very dark. I’m sure the owner can easily fix this!

Overall, we had a good stay. The location was excellent, right in the heart of Old Nice, with easy access to everything. The apartment had what we needed, and the property manager was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. A few downsides: the building hallway had a strong old, musty smell, and the bed was quite noisy. The balcony was also much smaller than it looked in the photos and was barely usable for sitting. In addition, some basic supplies, such as dishwasher and laundry detergent and paper towels, were not enough for the length of our stay, so we had to buy extra ourselves. Overall, it’s a good value for the location. I personally wouldn’t stay again, simply because I prefer trying new places when I travel.

Super schöne Ferienwohnung in idealer Lage

Sehr angenehme, schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung in idealer Größe und Lage. Alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants sind in Fußnähe erreichbar. Man fühlt sich wie ein Einheimischer in Nizza.

Totally Charming Apartment

We absolutely loved the apartment. It was spacious, sunny, and comfortable. We were, however, disappointed with the management company, Stay Y N A, Your Nice Apartment, which charged a “concierge fee” equivalent to 80 euros a night for our stay, for items that are usually provided for free - having someone meet us with the keys, provide meager linen and other amenities, and a bag of perhaps 20 euros worth of coffee, wine a breadsticks. Despite that, the apartment really is charming, and well situated in the Old Town, close to good food shopping, markets, and the Promenade.
