    Nestled quietly on the first floor, this fully renovated, air-conditioned apartment sets the scene for a relaxing French Riviera vacation any time of the year. The apartment easily accommodates a small group of 4 and enjoys an excellent position in the village from where the harbour, beaches and french eateries are all within 10-15 minutes\' walking distance. Inside, the holiday apartment features an open, neutral-toned modern living room with accents like rugs, flat-screen TV and a stylish sofa. This room also leads out onto the lovely balcony and to the kitchen corner that is ready to take on any meal preparation that you are in the mood for; A Nespresso machine, oven, induction hob and fridge with a freezer are available.

    The apartment is also equipped with double glazing and is located a stone’s throw from the Beaulieu Sur Mer train terminal.

    From the holiday apartment’s convenient and well-located position the nearest railway station, french eateries, parks like Olivaie Garden and Boulodromo, the petrol pump and a supermarket are all within 10 minutes\' walking distance. Guests will also find the Beaulieu harbour, marina, hiking along the sea and the Plage Petite Afrique within a 15-minute walk from the rental. Other than that, the beautiful San-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the quaint village of Èze, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and the Greek museum villa Kerylos are all just a 10-15 minutes drive away.

    The Cinema Beaulieu and Casino Beaulieu, designed by the celebrated architect Gustav Eiffel, are a short, 5-minute drive from the apartment. The Belle Époque beauty of Nice and the famous Bay of Angels are a 20-minute drive from here. The closest international airport is Nice-Côte d\'Azur, approximately a 35-minute drive from this holiday apartment in Beaulieu-sur-Mer.

We arrived late to the property as our flight was delayed. On arrival the key safe did not have a key in it and when we went upstairs to the apartment the door was wide open. The property was in a disgusting state with dirty/mouldy cups in the kitchen sink, beds not made, towels strewn everywhere. There was broken glass on the kitchen surfaces, the bathroom and toilet were dirty. The property smelled dirty. There was no way we could stay there. We tried to contact the host as the site claimed 24hour support, there was no response. We ended up checking into the closest hotel we could find. Spending a lot of extra money on taxi fares and needing 2 hotel rooms. The host did not contact me until the afternoon of the following day. Her response was could we go to the property while they had it cleaned which was absolutely unacceptable. After several calls and attempts to contact Vrbo, I eventually was offered a full refund on the price of the property. 2 weeks later this has still not materialised. Avoid this property at all costs and any property associated with Happy rentals. I’m

More rundown than advertised

When my girlfriend and I arrived for a long weekend in Beaulieu Sur Mer for a close friend’s wedding, we were disappointed with the overall state of the apartment. The photos make it look modern & filled with fresh looking furniture and that the place would be a clean comfortable spot for the two of us. The couches and bed frames were all peeling and very worn down. The walls also were either peeling or dirty in one of the bedrooms as well. The closet had a weird white powder in it, so our clothes got dirty when putting them in the closet. The shower drain did not work properly and filled up within 2 minutes of turning on the water - we would have to turn off the water and wait 2+ minutes for it to drain before being able to use again. Lastly, the internal door locking nob kept falling off (while that did not compromise security it was a pain to have to replace it each time we locked the door).
