We arrived late to the property as our flight was delayed. On arrival the key safe did not have a key in it and when we went upstairs to the apartment the door was wide open. The property was in a disgusting state with dirty/mouldy cups in the kitchen sink, beds not made, towels strewn everywhere. There was broken glass on the kitchen surfaces, the bathroom and toilet were dirty. The property smelled dirty. There was no way we could stay there. We tried to contact the host as the site claimed 24hour support, there was no response. We ended up checking into the closest hotel we could find. Spending a lot of extra money on taxi fares and needing 2 hotel rooms. The host did not contact me until the afternoon of the following day. Her response was could we go to the property while they had it cleaned which was absolutely unacceptable. After several calls and attempts to contact Vrbo, I eventually was offered a full refund on the price of the property. 2 weeks later this has still not materialised. Avoid this property at all costs and any property associated with Happy rentals. I’m
