The Lone Star- Hot Tub, AC, Pool Table

The main level features an open concept, cozy living-dining area that opens to the screened porch with chef grill and outdoors dining table, and a large front deck with mountain views. Gather around the woodburning stove to enjoy the afternoon sunlight and wonderful sunset skies or sip your drink on your private deck while watching the South Ridge fireworks to create memories and the perfect ending to your adventure filled days! The main floor also features two bedrooms, one queen and one double bunks, as well as a full bath. The top level offers a quiet, private queen bedroom and bathroom. On the ground level you will be welcomed into the large mudroom that has all the space needed to store your gear. Beyond the mudroom is the pool/entertainment room that offers a great secondary living space with two futons, a live edge bar top as well as an additional queen bed. This room has a dedicated full bathroom and opens to the lower-level patio and private hot tub. This house has two separate living areas, offers indoor and outdoor entertainment, new furnishings, and quality linens.

*Please note the home is not actually 4 bedrooms, there are beds in the lower level living room that are considered in the bedroom count and has a private bath.

We had a great long weekend with family in Newry. There were six adults and one five-year old. We loved the layout of the home, each family had their own space. We enjoyed using the amenities (hot tub, pool table and yard games). Easy check in and home was clean, cute, and well stocked. I would recommend this place if Newry is your destination.

Great stay!

We loved the Lone Star for our 3 night ski weekend with our adult children and spouses. The house was so cozy and comfortable. The 3 bedrooms were roomy and bright. The kitchen and living room had beautiful views of the mountain and we could see fireworks Saturday night from the front deck. The downstairs was the perfect place to unwind and play some games after dinner.

Family ski trip over school vacation

Communication with owners was outstanding. Would typically get a response within five minutes to any questions. Location of course was perfect. Great for dropping off and picking up at the Mountain with only a five minute drive. House was super clean and had everything we needed. Pool table in the basement was really cool. Kids and adults had fun with that. We had no complaints at all, but a couple opportunities… Instead of a couch and three chairs in the living room, Replace with a sectional or pull chairs out and add a second couch. It is great to ski all day and be able to crash and watch the Celtics at night or the Bruins for that matter. We found ourselves fighting over the one couch. Also, the bunkbeds are cool, but the tops are only good for smaller kids. Feels a bit fragile when you get on the top bunks. Anyway, we would definitely rent again, but upgrading those two things would make it even better. Overall great property and great communication.
