"Mainstay Suites has been a perfect option for my daughter as she competes for Miss Virginia. It is quiet, but only 8 minutes away from the competition at Hotel Roanoke or the Berglund Center. Also…there is plenty of room for all the clothes she needs to bring for pageant week! The staff was excellent, responsive, and accommodating! "

"I enjoyed my stay at Spark. It was close to the airport, I81, and several shops and restaurants. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, and I had no issues at all during my two night stay. The tv even was on with my name and welcome when I first arrived in my room - that was a first. Perfect for a one or two night stay in the Star City. "

"The property and rooms were very nice. The only two surprises were, no luggage rack in my room and the breakfast situation. The room was otherwise very nice and spacious. Breakfast was not included; however there was a breakfast service for a charge. The hotel location was very close to the airport and the local mall. Great location overall. "

"I picked this property solely for the price. It was located on a small stretch of road with other run-down low-cost properties and did not shine as the best one. It was an unpleasant shock to pre-pay for the room and then find there was a $100 cash fee that would be refunded at check-out after the room had been inspected.
