"Very well maintained and fab to stay. We had dinner there and it was fabulous. I booked a table in advance. It was full when we were there, so would recommend booking ahead. Steak and shiraz with a peppercorn sauce. Breakfast was set out on a full table to help yourself with juices, cereal, pastry, croissants, toast and there were jams a plenty to chose, along with marmite. There were muffins and bars along with fruit basket. We were greeted and asked if wale would like tea or coffee. Staff...

Dusty in nooks and crannies.
The inside of the velux window in the bathroom is completely covered in old spiders webs with flies that have been there a while."

"The property was beautiful and basically in the middle of the woods so dead easy for dog walking - also and outside hose which was really handy considering how muddy it was! It was freezing when we arrived but the heating, once I figured it out was effective. Unfortunately there were no logs or kindling for the fire which would have been beautiful. Also, the cues for the pool table were broken but we managed to partially fix one and had a few games with a beer or two - an added bonus!

"I was out all day, so basically came here to sleep. 2 issues. 1) I could not get any heating in the room, the communal areas were warm, but my room was unheated. 2) the smart TV did not have any internet so I couldn't log into Netflix. On the plus side, I had a bath & the bed was very comfortable. Useful tea/coffee facilities. Unfortunately I never got to try their breakfast."

"The Trouville is a lovely hotel on the seafront of Sandown. We booked two triple rooms with sea views for a family stay. The rooms are a great size plenty of storage and space to move around. We had a lovely night sleep with the waves crashing on to the beach. The breakfast was great we chose to have the cooked breakfast which was nice and there were lots of continental options which we could help ourselves to. The staff member was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
