In season, start your day by enjoying your morning beverage by sitting on the back deck or covered front porch watching the beauty of nature.

Enjoy the many resort amenities our community offers: a heated outdoor pool in summer, beach area on the lake, recreation complex with a game room, and beautiful hiking trails. Pickleball, tennis, golf, and fishing are also available for nominal fees.

HOUSE OVERVIEW
Relax in an open living room and dining area with a picture window looking out into the greenery of the backyard. The skylight and ceiling fan keeps this main living area light and airy. There are board games, dominoes, cards, and 3 smart TVs for your enjoyment.

MASTER BDRM – king bed, smart TV, with a full private bathroom with a tub-style shower.
SECOND BDRM – queen bed and smart TV.
THIRD BDRM – full-size futon with a top single bunk bed and a desk if you need to check email or join a virtual meeting. The wifi is fast and reliable.
The KITCHEN contains all full-size appliances and is fully stocked with all the cooking utensils you need to create a simple or extravagant meal.
For your convenience, there is a full-size Maytag washer and dryer right off the kitchen.
The back door leads out to the deck so you can enjoy barbecuing on a propane grill and outdoor dining. The patio set sits 4. We can leave folding chairs if you need them.

For those chilly days, there is electric heat and a cozy gas fireplace to sit around. There are window air conditioning units in the master and second bedroom. However, there are still window fans available for those of us who love the cool fresh mountain air at night in the summer.

PET POLICY
Yes, your well-behaved and trained pup is welcome! There is a dog park right across the road from the house for all to enjoy. The fee is $25 per night for one well-behaved doggie 30 lbs. or less.

When you’re ready to explore one of the most spectacular areas of America, take a scenic drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Have fun antiquing or enjoy a glass of wine at one of our local wineries.
To feed your adventurous spirit, go whitewater rafting, take an ATV/ UTV tour, or ride the alpine coaster in Banner Elk. Sugar Mountain for skiing/snowboarding/ice skating and Banner Elk are just 15 minutes away. There is so much to see and do, but most impressive is the scenic beauty of this area. Great little Trip...No Snow!

We came up to use the cabin for a snow tubing trip. This house was a great location between the snow tubing locations. unfortunately, the 12 inches of snow that fell the week before melted for our weekend. Plenty of room in the house for our trip. Each child had their own room, plenty of dishes and kitchen appliances. If you chose this home, hope you have a great time like us.

Quiet, comfortable home

This house is located in a quiet neighborhood and was a short drive to Sugar Mtn, Grandfather Mtn, and Banner Elk. Our family of five had a comfortable stay with plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked, and we were able to enjoy cooking several meals during our stay. Nancy was very welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay in this home again in the future.

Wonderful week'

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It had everything 4 adults needed. Plenty of room, the fireplace worked great, and it was clean. It is in a great location with nearby restaurants. We enjoyed the walking trail near the house with our dog for our morning walk. We visited Sugar Mountain, Blowing Rock, Boone, Linville Falls, Elk River Falls and more. Thanks for letting us stay at your home. We hope to be back soon.

Nice place to stay

Nancy was great to deal with, she allowed us to stay with our 3 small dogs, and always responded quickly when I had a question. Its in a very good location with a lot to do and see within a short drive.

Cozy Mountain Cabin

Perfect location for our family to spend the weekend outdoors. This home had everything we needed - kitchen was completely stocked. Nancy even had coffee and creamers for us! The beds were very comfortable and clean. The back deck served as our dining room one beautiful evening. Close to Grandfather Mountain, Sugar and Beech Mountains, Blue Ridge Parkway- so much fun! Grocery store close by and plenty of restaurants, wineries and coffee shops to explore. Nancy checked in on us to make sure we were ok - it felt like we were staying at our friend’s home.

Wonderful relaxing weekend in the high country

I used to travel with work a lot and always stayed in vacation rentals because they are more comfy relaxing and convenient than hotels. Two things I learned are (1) the photos should meet expectations when you get there and (2) the host matters! Nancy’s place was just as cute as it looks and you can’t beat the location in beautiful safe Linville Land Harbor where there are so many things to do on any given day among friendly people and a gazillion trees and natural settings. I hiked, I swam in the pool, I listened to live music, I walked on the beach in the water, I explored the wooded lake trail, i had an incredible sandwich at the patio grill, all within the resort where this rental is located. Then I buzzed 15 minutes over to a beautiful, expansive winery for more live music. I went 20 minutes the other way from this rental and explored Banner Elk, and Sugar Mountain. This home was the perfect 'home base' from which to explore and offered a comfy place for some great rest and wonderful coffee and breakfast on the deck in the morning! Everything you need is here and it’s like staying at a friend’s. Host Nancy is communicative and friendly and left great instructions, guides and tips. She’s super sweet and it made my stay perfect. Highly recommended. Thanks Nancy!

Best Trip Ever!!!!

As the title states, my family had the most fun on this vacation!!! Nancy was fantastic at sending us not only the on-site property activities, including the spectacular golf course, she also send us all the fun activities around the area! There are 3 Mountains and multiple rivers of crazy fun things to do just minutes away! The cottage was quaint and delightful, perfect for my family with everything we needed. I will absolutely be returning!

Beautiful

Just what I we needed while escaping the Florida heat. The location was absolutely beautiful and very quite and relaxing. Nancy was so accommodating and easy to contact, she went above and beyond to answer any questions and always responded immediately. The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay longer.

Great Place to Stay

We really loved staying here. The place was so very clean and the white duvet covers were so fresh and comfy. What A Gem

What a gem! Nancy was an excellent host. She checked in to see if we needed anything and really paid attention to detail. The home is so comfy and we really enjoyed sitting on the back deck to watch the chipmunks and even saw deer in the morning. We appreciated the white duvet covers and sheets, everything is so clean! We will definitely be back next summer to stay longer!
