The neighbourhood is on the riverside and the street is made up of this block of apartments and some business units. It's a pleasant 15 or 20 minute walk or short bus ride from the city centre and there are a couple of really good pubs within a very short walk. The Free Trade and The Tyne, which has live music outdoors in the summer.
On Sunday morning there is a market on the Quayside which is worth a visit.
A pleasant walk or short bus ride to the city centre and a cheap taxi ride too. Drive to the coast at North Shields in about 15 minutes.
There's free car parking available outside the apartment block and a bus stop to take you to town very close by. It's a nice walk to the city centre, although an UBER can be as cheap as £3 or £4. It takes 15 or 20 minutes to walk along the river to the Tyne Bridge.
It can be cheaper to use a taxi than pay parking in the city centre.
There is a bicycle rental scheme in the city.
Check in is between 3pm and 8pm. Late check in is not possible. If you want to arrive after 8, this is not the apartment for you.
Check in is from 3pm. Early check in is £25 extra when it’s possible. This is because people ask to check in early, then turn up late and we’re sitting there waiting for them to arrive. It disrupts our day and costs money. This is because 80% of people asking to check in early turn up more than an hour later than they asked for. One person turned up six hours late. So it’s £25 extra to be early.
