"We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. "We frequently stay at B&Bs and this property outshone all the others. The bathrooms were all modern and very clean, comfy bed, great lighting in the rooms. The breakfast might have been the best part, however, and every day was delicious, filling, and pretty presentation. The inn provides lots of water and soft drink choices, as well as coffees and teas (all self-serve). Fresh-baked cookies every night, and self-serve wine, too! "Staff was great. Room was a good size. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure was good. Area around hotel somewhat noisy due to the roadway, but not detrimental to the stay at all. Wish it was nicer weather so I could have checked out the pool! Only recommendation wish I could have streamed from my phone to the TV! Enjoyed my stay. Thank you! "

"I’ve stayed here several times, because is one of few hotel brands that have full size fridge/freezer. I don’t have any problems with the hotels, but would suggest one requests a room on the top floor if you are sensitive to noises or stomping on the ceiling. Am noticing the hotels are moving away from carpeted floors. I totally get the practicality of this for cleaning, but can be horrible when there are people above you that are unaware of how hard they walk. Like a stampede going on upstairs....
