"We were in the area for the Chrysler Nationals held in Carlisle. The drive to & from the event were pleasant. The cabin was very clean & comfortable. It was quiet, peaceful. Beds were good with soft sheets. Highly recommend"

"This cottage was exactly what my partner and I needed. It was beautiful and private. Sitting on the back deck and watching the squirrels and birds was so nice. My partner liked shooing the squirrels away from the bird feeder. The hosts provided almost everything, all you needed was food. Having a campfire every night was so precious to us and helped us connect. The grate for the campfire is an excellent touch, making food on the fire a breeze. The only thing that i would tell others is watch out...

"This was the perfect cabin for a girls' weekend getaway! We enjoyed the hot tub, cozy living room, and spacious well-stocked kitchen. It was clean, and the location in the woods felt private. Highly recommend! "

"I rely heavily on reviews, so I’m going to take my time and provide others with a thorough review.This was a friends trip with a group of ladies ages 50 to 70. We do trips a couple of times a year and choose the place rather than the destination. We chose well with this slice of heaven.This place is phenomenal in every way. The photos make it appear that it is on flat ground, but it is on a hill overlooking the pond and fields. The mountains are right in front of you and the views are...

"This rental is absolutely adorable! It was just the right size for our weekend trip to visit family. The location is perfect, with easy access to I-81 and plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The property itself was spotless and the kitchen has everything you might need. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Chambersburg."

"We truly enjoyed our visit to Gettysburg and this large house was not too far away!! We had family from ages 1.5-74 gather together. Great having two kitchens, family rooms!! We were able to be together but have our own bedroom space!! Thank you to the Freckled Farmhouse for a lovely visit!"
