Welcome to the Yamhill Flats, a collection of five uniquely inspired private guest suites rising above the historic downtown of Newberg. From your doorstep, you are just moments away from world-class tasting rooms, restaurants, and local attractions that define Oregon Wine Country.

Located in the heart of Newberg, often called the Gateway to Oregon Wine Country, these thoughtfully designed suites capture the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and sophistication. Each apartment-style retreat has been carefully remodeled with modern amenities while preserving the timeless character of the historic building. The result is a welcoming space that feels both contemporary and classic, offering guests an exceptional home base for exploring the Willamette Valley.

Please note that, as part of the building's vintage character, guests will need to climb a steep flight of stairs to reach the suites, and there is no elevator. These stairs greet you as soon as you open the main door to the building. We recommend taking your time and bringing your luggage up carefully.

Yamhill Flats Suite 5 offers a beautifully balanced one-bedroom layout designed for both comfort and privacy. The open living area features an electric fireplace, plush seating, and warm lighting that create an inviting atmosphere for relaxation after a day of wine tasting and exploration.

The full modern kitchen includes everything you need to prepare a home-cooked meal or enjoy local takeout, while the cozy dining nook provides the perfect spot for leisurely breakfasts or intimate dinners.

The bedroom features a comfortable queen bed with soft linens, generous closet space, and a second television for your convenience. The ensuite bathroom includes a standing shower, bright lighting, soft towels, and a hair dryer for an effortless stay.

The property was clean and fit my needs perfectly. This is the 4th time I have stayed at one of the properties offered here with Lifestyles. And has always been a pleasant experience. Communication is great. Check-in is easy. I won't stay anywhere else when I come to Newberg to see my daughter.

Perfect apartment

This apartment was beautifully appointed, very clean, and right downtown in Newberg. I’m a veteran traveler and this was the most comfortable overnight stay ever! The only downside is traffic noise due to location but the hosts thought of that too and provided earplugs

Very nice apartment with all you need for a fun stay in Oregon wine country. Easy communication and good WiFi. Comfortable bed and full kitchen. Good tv options as well. Soda was a bit old, but all in all a very nice apartment. We appreciated the bottle of wine offered as a welcome gift. Nice coffee and tea as well.

Excellent accomodation!

We were so impressed with the comfort and amenities of this place. The location is super walkable and communication from staff was suburb. They even had a little bag of goodies for our pup. We are always so grateful for dog friendly spots. We will definitely stay here again when visiting wine country!

Great location and property

We stayed for a few days for a wedding. Great location - walking distance to cafes and restaurants and only a short drive to airport (45 min) and downtown Portland. Would highly recommend.

Easy and clean

Came to see family and needed a place to stay that was this was convenient and clean and easy. Only one complaint and that was how noisy the mini split system was. Sounded like a fog horn every time it went off which was about every 30 mins.

Fantastic Place!

We loved everything about this place. The location was superb as we were pleasantly surprised on arrival it is right on the main drag of Newberg and we could easily walk to many cut chops and restaurants (which we did for two of our nights there). Parking was never an issue, we easily found street parking each time (we were there for 3 nights). Inside, it is very nice decorated, updated and clean. It was very comfortable to sit and relax after hitting wineries all day and to make an easy breakfast in the morning as the kitchen was well stocked. There are some steep stairs as you enter the building to get to the 2nd floor, however, this was not a problem for us, we just took our time getting our baggage up to the second floor. Management was very communicative before our stay via email, and they also left us on arrival a nice bottle of wine, coffee and snacks. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I booked this location to enjoy a few days of wine tasting. Prior to arrival I received thorough and detailed check-in information as well as recommendations for local wineries and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and contained all we needed for our stay. The bathroom is small and doesn’t have much counter space but we made it work. The location was great for us. We walked to a coffee shop each morning and found many wineries within a 5-10 minute drive. Would stay here again.

Best kept secret

This suite at Yamhill Flats was perfect for our long getaway weekend. Very comfortable and spacious. The suite feels like it’s been recently renovated from the furniture to the appliances. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Not a review - just suggestions for property management.

Great Location. But, some suggestions for improvement: Extra pillows and blankets would have been nice. The bathroom is extremely small and an awkward setup. The door doesn’t open all the way and you can’t leave open if you are trying to. Very tight small space to get ready in. You should also consider putting some lamps in the front living space. The ceiling fan / light are to bright to have on at night while sitting in that space. Other than that nice place and great location. Thank you.

Wonderful Location

We've always wanted to visit Willamette Valley and found this gem. Right in the heart of Downtown Newberg and a short drive to oh so many wineries. The place was just adorable, updated, and had everything you would need to feel at home.
