Everything was great except there is a very strong air freshener odor throughout the building and especially in the room. For sensitive people, it’s headache inducing. There was also something spilled in the hallway leading to my room that was not cleaned up the whole time I was there. Communication with property manager was excellent and of course, great location. The building itself and the room has charm.

This room is very nice, I stayed here by myself. It has a nice couch to sit on or put your stuff on. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is a little small, but the shower pressure was nice. The noise level is the only thing that was an issue as the windows did not keep any sound out. I ended up putting on Spotify and listening to White noise on the television to be able to sleep. But you are in midtown so it is to be expected.The building is in a great location, easy to use the code to get in and out. The lobby is very nice, I didn't end up using the gym but poked my head in and it looked nice. Would definitely consider staying here again if I had to stay in midtown.

Everything was perfect for mine and my sister’s one night stay for our sister trip to the big city! Clean, walkable to Times Square and other attractions, comfortable bed, and perfect for two. Our host was great!

No, the towels were horrible and we only had two. When we asked for more they forgot and we had to ask again. It was really warm in the room and the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Host communication was great. Room itself left much to be desired: no curtains, just slat shades that let in a ton of ambient light at all hours - bring an eye mask. I also managed to short a fuse in my room by making the mistake of plugging in a hair dryer in the bathroom while a space heater was plugged in by the bed. Walking into the foyer to get help at 11 pm with wet hair and PJs isn’t ideal, so learn from my mistake. Also, just a side note if you’re planning on getting ready in the bathroom - the lighting was so awful and dim that I couldn’t tell that it was on (it was). I ended up moving the lamp from the bedside into the bathroom in order to see my face in the mirror. Otherwise, bed and room was fine on the comfort scale. One suggestion to the owners: consider hotel-style locks, as the simple locking mechanism seemed a little questionable (mine had duct tape around it).

The host & staff were great, but.... the bathroom was the size of a closet, and the first AM there was no hot water. (The problem was fixed that day.) The largest window had a small A/C unit installed (not shown in the photo), and there was a thin pleated "accordion" paper-thin membrane that filled in about 1 foot of space on each side of the unit. Sound-wise, this was the equivalent of an open window, which made the room intermittently very noisy - garbage trucks, fire trucks, police cars, construction vehicles, you-name-it. We slept so badly (being awakened multiple times between midnight and 7AM) that we cut our stay short. It really made no sense for the A/C unit to still be in the window in mid-November, as it was obviously for warm-weather use only. The building itself was clean and charming, and we felt safe & secure during our visit.

The room was very clean and well fitted. The staff we saw were very friendly. Storage facilities were very convenient. The location was great- so close to 5th Ave and Grand Central Station. No complaints.

Location, Location, Location!You couldn’t ask for a better spot—right in the heart of the city. Just two blocks from Times Square and two blocks from Bryant Park, the area felt safe and vibrant throughout our stay.The host was extremely responsive. I’d read some reviews mentioning issues with air conditioning or hot water, but we had no problems at all. The water was hot, and while the host suggested using the AC efficiently, even on a hot Labor Day weekend the room stayed perfectly comfortable.This is a private room with a bathroom. There’s no full kitchen, just a fridge and microwave, but honestly, you don’t need one when some of the best food in the world is just steps away.My only suggestion would be to provide more than two pillows and two towels. That said, once I mentioned it, the host immediately delivered extras, which was a pleasant surprise. The bed didn’t come with a top sheet, but it was comfortable, quiet, and much better than some reviews had suggested.This isn’t a flashy or luxury stay, but it was exactly what we needed: clean, convenient, and fairly priced for such a prime location. Comparable spots in the area cost much more, making this little boutique-style accommodation a great value.

Location is everything they say. For this trip, it was soooo true! It was a nice beautiful building, in the heart of the city! We walked everywhere! We did not see the kitchen (communal), as we were out and about a lot, and did not cook. The room was small, but nice. The furniture could get updated... all bad Ikea, cheap furniture (the couch is extremely uncomfortable).
