Secluded cabin in Hocking County
Oak Ridge is a newly renovated cabin that offers all the modern amenities in a secluded private setting. Perfect for a large family of up to nine or several couples to enjoy a relaxing getaway.
The cabin is located on 80 acres of wooded land with a pond and surrounded by
Wayne National Forest, home of the largest Atv trail system in Ohio. It is approximately a 30 minute drive to the many caves, trails and rock formations that Hocking Hills is known for along with the nearby Tecumseh Trails. *No ATVs are allowed on the property.
The cabin features a modern kitchen with everything you need to cook including an outdoor gas grill. The spacious living room has comfortable seating, an electric fireplace, and a smart TV for a perfect movie night experience.
The large master bedroom offers a king sized bed along with a daybed and a trundle bed for extra sleeping space. There is a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and a full/twin bunk in the third bedroom. There are 3 full bathrooms.
There is a large hot tub on the lower covered porch along with a fire pit and corn hole outside for your enjoyment.
*We recommend guests be comfortable with stairs as they will need to climb one flight to enter the cabin.
We have a camera facing the driveway for security purposes.

Everything was clean and as stated in the details. There was a little issue with the garbage disposal but Veronica was responsive in communication and promptly fixed the issue. The place itself is great. Very peaceful, lots of space for the number of guests. I highly recommend.

Our stay was overall OK we started off not getting check-in details. We had to reach out to get them from the host 1/2hr before we arrived. we were told we should’ve received them days ago, but no one had reached out to see if the information had been received. The house was clean and properly stocked with items. Wi-Fi did not run the greatest as streaming was a bit difficult at times and just spooled when you were watching movies. The hot tub was NOT clean! as it was the main reason, we liked the property and wanted to rent it. It was green and there was a lot of scale buildup and would it showed up in our swimsuits, broken jets and headrest. but the worst part of our stay was the uncomfortable king bed. I was taken back by all this because the property was said newly listed on Vrbo! As I arrived by home I was reviewing the reviews and noticed it was listed 2023. We are currently into 2026. This clearly is not a newly listed property.

This cabin was perfect for our annual ladies trip. There was eight of us staying, the house provided plenty of sleep areas and three bathrooms to accommodate all of us. The kitchen was large with a huge bar area. The dining and living area was spacious, And very inviting. We turned on the electric fireplace and it created a wonderful overall ambience for us to just relax on our weekend away. If bumped up against Wayne national forest, so we took a hike through the trails. The cabin overlooks a large lake , it was a beautiful view on a foggy morning, and we walked and sat on the small dock and enjoyed the sun rising over the water. There is a nice hot tub, it was clean and warm. We enjoyed the area with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs, firewood was provided in a small lean to. Collectively, we all would like to give this place more than five stars because it was absolutely a wonderful stay. I needed to reach out to the owners and they were very prompt to answer and assist me with my need. We can’t say enough about this house and location other than we plan to go back in in the future.

This property is super cute and very relaxing! It is very secluded here and cell service isn't great, so if you are looking for a relaxing off the grid vacation, this is it! My son tried fishing in the pond and insists there are absolutely no fish there so don't plan on fishing in the pond and catching anything. My kids loved the hot tub, although, I did not get in because you couldn't get the hot tub hot enough for my liking. The highest it went was only 99 degrees. I prefer a much hotter hot tub. Other than that, the place is perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and relaxing!
Teachers weekend getaway was amazing with this cabin!!!! This cabin was very clean and felt newly built! We loved our stay. We especially appreciated the three full sized bathrooms! The location was absolutely beautiful! We would stay here again!

Girls Trip to Hocking Hills
We loved this serene location in the trees! It housed 5 women very comfortably for the most epic trip to the Hocking Hills area. Close enough to be convenient, far enough away to not be crowded. There was a large kitchen and a big table to play games at. Clean, comfortable! We have already recommended it to our friends.

Perfect friends getaway
The cabin is exactly as described. Nicely updated and decorated with plenty of space for our group. Comfortable beds and great living room. 3 bathrooms for a group of 6 girls was a plus! We took advantage of the hot tub which was clean and ready to use. We also enjoyed hiking around the property. Distance to Logan and Hocking Hills wasn’t too bad and we were able to easily get to town for a dinner out. Highly recommend for a friends or family getaway!

Wonderful Relaxing Quiet Stay
