    En el corazón de las playas de desembarco de Normandía, el auténtico pequeño puerto pesquero artesanal Port en Bessin y la navegación de Calvados, famosa por sus vieiras ubicadas a 10 minutos de Arromanches y su puerto artificial, a 10 minutos de la playa de Omaha, A 10 minutos de Bayeux, 30 minutos de Caen, 1h30 del Mont Saint Michel y 3h00 de París.

    Apartamento en Port en Bessin completamente renovado con servicios de alta gama, vistas al mar y las mareas al pie de nuestro edificio, directamente en el paseo marítimo y en el puerto exterior.
    Durante la marea baja, puede pasear por la arena en la pequeña playa frente al edificio y luego puede comprar pescado y mariscos frescos en el mercado de pescado que se encuentra a dos minutos.
    Mercado todos los domingos durante todo el año y también los viernes por la noche en temporada.
    Julio y agosto (desde el 20 de julio de 2018) grandes fuegos artificiales todos los viernes
    A tiro de piedra del puerto pesquero, en el segundo piso de un antiguo edificio de pescadores, le ofrecemos un encantador apartamento de aproximadamente 65 m² con un confort de alta gama con sensacionales vistas al mar con sus tres grandes ventanales en la sala de estar y la cocina.
    Sala de estar que incluye una gran cocina con comedor para 4 personas, la cocina con equipamiento muy completo (horno de pirólisis, cafetera Nespesso, cafetera, microondas, nevera, lavadora-secadora, placa de inducción, etc.) ) es como en casa !!! y además disfrutarás de la vista al mar.
    El salón es muy agradable con su acogedor sofá donde podrá disfrutar de las idas y venidas de los barcos, una mesa auxiliar con dos sillones que hemos instalado frente a la ventana más grande para que pueda aprovechar al máximo este espléndido panorama.

Geraldine was amazing! She answered all our questions about the area, had wine and cider waiting for us on our arrival, and even helped with our luggage! It was the most well-appointed VRBO property we have ever stayed at, with everything you could possibly need. And Port-en-Bassin was charming and well-supplied with groceries, restaurants, etc. This was one of our favorite VRBO stays.

Fantastic view. Well appointed apartment. Great location for everything in town but still on a quiet private street.The stairs are an adventure to navigate. Just take your time and be careful.Internet was a touch slow.

Geraldine was there to meet us promptly. Showed us the apartment, a map of the area, where to eat, get groceries and gas. Then she and her husband helped with our luggage! And that has never to us happened before! Great place to stay! The town is lovely and has a number excellent restaurants and drinking establishments.

Quaint and comfortable- wonderful location.

Very nice place. Very cute village that is central to WWII sites. Geraldine is a great and attentive host.

Just as described and better!

Fabulous apartment with everything you need including an amazing view of the harbour. So easy to park outside and Port-en-Bessin is delightful. Geraldine was extremely helpful and had thought of everything to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely time! Would stay here again!

My family all enjoyed our stay at this charming and wonderful home. We enjoyed the coffee in the morning, the comfortable beds and the beautiful location. The water view out of the main windows was pretty and peaceful. Thank you for a truly lovely experience.

Excellent location and the view in the morning was perfect to sit by the window and watch the boats pass by. Communication with owner was perfect. Apartment was very clean and very well equipped. Location for the Normandy museums etc. was central. Highly recommend.

Wonderful two week stay

We had a wonderful stay, this is the place to stay in Port en Bessin. The view from the apartment, sunrise and sunset on the harbor is one we’ll always remember. Geraldine is an excellent host, suggested many sites and things to do while there. Next time in Normandy we plan on staying here again.

4 Sisters

The home was exactly what 4 sisters from the United States needed to visit the Normandy Beaches region! The French fishing village was perfect to feel a part of the region and French people were so kind and helpful. Can’t wait to return some day!

Perfect location in quiet village

We very much enjoyed our stay! Geraldine greeted us upon check in, showed us the house and places to see. She even booked us a dinner at a local restaurant our first evening, which was amazing given our long day of travel. The village is walkable…with markets, shops, restaurants and sea front only a few minutes walk away. The location is great for all the Normandy sites. We look forward to returning soon.

Lovely location by the sea

An enviable location on the Harbour front. A fish market, coffee shops, patisseries and restaurants all within walking distance.Quiet (though no others staying at the time) with easy parking. Super jumping off point for the D Day beaches, Bayeaux and inland Normandy. Very reluctant to leave.

Beautiful apartment and location

My family and I had a great time in Normandy for D-Day and this apartment was perfect! Plenty of space, view of the sea, and well appointed. Geraldine was so sweet- she welcomed us with D Day gifts when we arrived and also came by to explain the events and apartment details. It is located just steps from restaurants and shops too. Would love to stay here again!

Normandy trip

My parents and I loved the apartment! It was immaculately clean. With the windows open, we could hear the waves of the English Channel. Many excellent restaurants are within a few blocks’ walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Normandy!

Wunderbar

Der Ort, die Wohnung und die charismatische Vermieterin Geraldine sind ganz wunderbar. Die Wohnung ist schöner und großzügiger als die Fotos vermuten lassen. Wir mochten es, unmittelbar am Kai zu wohnen und auf den hauseigenen Möbeln direkt auf dem Bürgersteig zu sitzen und zu essen. Um selbst zu kochen ist wirklich alles da und die Lage des Orts ist für Ausflüge perfekt. Danke Geraldine!

A Perfect Place to Stay

We took a chance based on the photos to stay here instead of Bayeux while visiting Normandy. It paid off. Geraldine is wonderful and explained all the nuances of the unit. The unit was very clean and exactly as described. We had a ball and loved the little historic town. I would come back again and again.

Great Vbro

Very clean and well equipped- has everything you need. Great central location for seeing Normandy D- Day beaches, Mont Saint Michelle, Bayeux, Caen, Honfleur and Cliffs of Etretat. Bernadette went out of her way to make sure you felt at home and gave us great restaurant suggestions. Only drawback was stairs to 2nd flloor are spiral and narrow so would take that into consideration If booking and have difficulty with stairs, especially with luggage.
