Come camp in a magical school bus tiny home in Hocking Hills!

Feel like camping but don't want to stay in a tent? Come stay in our off-grid school bus! The Bus campsite is located just off the driveway in an open grassland meadow. Guests are welcome to park their car at the site. Amenities include a fire ring, an indoor solar light, 5 gallons of water for washing dishes (not available in winter), a table and two chairs (located outside), a single propane burner, some cooking oil and spices and basic kitchen utensils needed to prepare a simple meal. The Bus also feature a wood stove making it nice and cozy in the colder months. Do note that the bus has some drafty areas but will stay nice and warm as long as the wood stove has a nice fire in it
The Bus comfortably sleeps 2 with a queen size bed (clean bedding provided). If you wish to accommodate more people, please message us to inquire about options. The shared privy is located less than a minute walk from the bus. A few additional things to note about the bus: There is no shade at this site and the bus tends to get hot in the heat of the summer. You may want to bring along a pop up tent or some other type of shade tent; Cell phone coverage can be spotty here and in the area so plan accordingly; The floor to ceiling clearance is about 6 feet, so taller individuals may not be able to fully stand up in the bus; Lastly, It gets dark here. It's helpful to bring along a headlamp or flashlight. NOTICE ON PET FEE We charge a $20 pet fee FOR EACH PET PER BOOKING. This platform doesn't allow us to charge per pet it is either priced "per booking" or "per night" this does not meet our needs as the more pets you have the more of a chance there is for poop cleanup, excessive barking (that is displeasing for other campers) etc. To be clear WE BOTH LOVE DOGS (as well as other pets) and love having them here. However they do from time to time cause an extra "friction of operations" of which we think 20 dollars per pet is a worth wile price for us. In order to bring your pet you MUST purchase the pet fee when you book and confirm via txt the total number of pets that you will be bringing. Please keep your dog or pet in your field of view at all times. We also ask that you be mindful of those around you and that you have accountability over dog poop and any damage caused by the pet.
