Surely, a home away from the home.. Sabrina, is an excellent host, always reachable and forthcoming in case of need. We requested her for an early check-in, which was granted without any fuss. The apartment was spik and span, absolutely spotless, the linen clean and the floor exuded good vibes. The kitchen was stocked well with the utensils, needed for our prolonged stay. The washroom was clean, necessary articles available. The bath towels also stocked well in numbers and cleanliness. Washing machine and dryer also available in the basement and air conditioners working well, keeping the rooms warm. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, if visiting New Haven. The way she has taken care of minute details (which a traveller never expects) is commendable. I wish her the best in life!

Lovely property

Safe, clean and easy

This is a basement unit that is roomy, clean and in a safe part of town while be close to campus and the medical facilities. The host was great. Nice stay and every amenity you can think of was provided. Very thoughtful host.

We enjoyed the property. It was a clean, comfortable, and updated property that was located in a cozy neighborhood where everyone seemed to feel comfortable walking and socializing. I would enjoy staying here again.

Great Stay

We loved the apartment! It was clean and completely updated. It was in the basement but we did not mind at all because it felt like an oasis. The bathroom (especially the shower) was incredible! We felt like we were in a spa! The shower had a fancy curved wall and was so spacious. This house had a lot of finishes that you can tell the owner went the extra mile for. Getting into the place, there is a big wooden gate at the back of the driveway and it got a little stuck when we first tried the code. I was nervous it was going to turn into a huge issue but we called the host and she came right out to fix it! The only downside is that the place didn’t really have a living room. There is a small room in between the bedrooms and bathroom with a chaise-like couch in it and a small shelf and that was it. There was no tv or anything so you wouldn’t really hang out in it. We ended up putting our kids to sleep at night and hanging out in the kitchen which had a tv and was spacious- so it worked for us! I would definitely recommend this space!

All the amenities

Large, clean apartment with comfortable beds, large shower and loads of wonderful touches. The kitchen is well stocked and the owner provides packets of cookies, teas and coffee to enjoy. The bathroom included wonderful towels and even toothpaste and mouthwash. Really exceeded my expectations. The neighborhood isn’t particularly walkable to the center of New Haven, but it was a good stop on our road trip. Enjoy!

Cozy apartment

This apartment was perfect for two couples attending a weekend event in New Haven. Located on a pretty, quiet street with ample parking. Everything we needed was there in this sparkling clean, contemporary space. Sabrina was helpful and quick to respond when I needed her. Thank you!

10x better than a hotel

My family needed a place to stay for a few nights while traveling around New England. This place was perfect for us - it's very clean, nice bathroom & shower, and nice big kitchen. We had to park on the street, but traffic is minimal and the neighborhood is safe (the neighbors are very friendly).

Perfect get away

My husband and I took a quick kid-free get-away to New Haven and chose this rental to stay for two nights. It was perfect for us. We brought bikes so we could bike into the downtown area (7 min bike ride) without having to worry about parking. The place is a fully finished basement apartment. It comes completely equipped with everything you could need. Lots of little amenities. You can tell Sabrina really considers her quests' needs. Comfy beds. lots of space. The only little issue we had was quite a bit of noise from the upper level around 3am our last night there but I didn't want that reflected in our rating because I have no idea if that is the fault of the property owner.
