Located just minutes from the sandy shores of Lake Michigan and unique shops, award winning breweries and wineries and so much more in Southwest Michigan.

The main level features an open, airy floorplan with plenty of room for you and your guests to spread out. Let the kids be kids in the basement with the additional living space and extra-large TV for movie night!

    OUTDOOR GATHERING SPACES
    Pull up a seat in the screened in porch with pass-through bar and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, listening to the sounds of nature surrounding ‘Woodsview.’ The porch comfortably accommodates your whole group between a long dining table and lounge area. Grill some dinner and toast marshmallows for dessert. Then jump in the private hot tub to relax after a long day's adventure. The community pool is conveniently located next door with a large sun lounge and screened in community space. Soak up the sun while you enjoy the community garden.

Great Family vacation home

We ranged in age from 2 to 72 and house fit like a glove. Ample bed (including a crib), bathrooms, and spaces to visit. Pool was a plus.

A perfect place to celebrate our mom’s 80th bday all together! The screened in porch was fabulous and kept the bugs out. The hot tub was heavenly, smores roasting on the campfire, the pool was perfect for all ages, and the house was roomy, modern, and clean. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner/soap! Other than that, it was a great place to make memories!

House has everything you need especially if you have small children. Loved being so close to New Buffalo. Lots of good restaurants and excellent beach. My only suggestion would be putting another queen bed in the room that contains the futon. Otherwise great vacay and awesome house!

Really enjoyed our stay at this home. So many extra’s: games, toys for kids, pool toys. Nicely decorated. Pool and picnic area very family friendly. Enjoyed screened in porch and hot tub. The house is conveniently located right next to the pool. Unfortunately, several families stayed at the pool until 11:00 pm and were quite loud. We asked them to quiet down as it was keeping our infant and toddler grandsons awake. They refused saying the pool was open until 11:00 and they would leave then. They did as promised… screaming kids until 11. Thankfully they went home at 11.

As someone who works in the travel industry, I can be a tough critic at times, but this house exceeded my expectations. Number 1 was cleanliness- it is the very first thing I look for. The house was clean, the porch in the back was huge and covered, so you were free from the bugs. We spent every night outside playing games. The location was great for those that want a little but of everything. We did MI City and New Buffalo beaches and restaurants. Thank you for a great time. We will be back!

Second stay at woodsview

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house for our fictive adults and five kids. Spacious. Well equipped. The kitchen works week- we cooked a lot of meals. We love the lfishing pond (the kids caught a 2lb large mouth bass), the pool, and grounds. The second bedroom in front of house needs night stands and room darkening blinds. None of the showers have shelves for soap/shampoo. Mattresses are ok. 2 other bedrooms have low grade trundle beds, seems like you could do bunk beds or something better for multiple sleepers. This seems like a model home. With all of that being said, it’s a solid house. We enjoyed the layout as well.

Super nice and new but with kids in mind (twin/trundles, baby gates at stairs, games, toys, puzzles, high chair etc). Right next door to the pool- which was super convenient. It is in a little community that is being built, and is very secluded and peaceful. We were about a 2 mile drive from town- not really walkable or driveable but that wasn’t a big deal. We would definitely book again!!

We had some minor which were resolved immediately by the management company. The light color carpeting in the basement needs a good cleaning.

Unexpected Issues

The first two floors of our rental were beautiful. We ran into some issues in the lower-level bedroom and bathroom which I felt horrible about because our guest could not fully enjoy his living area and slept on the living room couch for his visit. In all fairness, the property management offered to help us, but this would have resulted in having a number of maintenance and housekeeping personnel in the house during our vacation. I did not want to deal with that. I think once the problems are addressed and properly corrected, the home will be a beautiful rental. On a positive note, we enjoyed the community pool, the gas grill, and the screened-in porch even though Orkin did spray when I was trying to relax out there. I had asked and it was confirmed that no one would spray to resolve one problem as we had a pregnant woman and toddler staying with us. This did bother me. I hope this review is not too harsh, but I feel that I need to be honest.

Great family getaway.

Very nice property. Pool was awesome. Enjoyed the screened-in porch. Note to owner…the powder room pocket door lock malfunctioned a couple times and a couple family members got locked inside the powder room. We opened it by pushing the door even more towards the closed position and used a credit card to lift the lock. Could use towel bars in bathrooms to hang bath towels and hooks for clothing. We had three couples and two children in our group. The third couple would have appreciated a larger bed in the double bedroom. Great stay overall!
