Great Location & Well Equipped

Convenient to multiple eating areas & river launch areas. Very well equipped with tons of towels, kitchen is well stocked, bedding etc. great weekend get away for two adults a 3 young adult children.

Great Spot on the river

Property had everything we needed. Beds / Couches comfortable. Appliances and silverware for cooking and grilling. River had shallow spots to put chairs in and deep enough spots to get fully into river. Backyard was great. Highlight was the outdoor shower for sure.

Peaceful getaway

My family and I stayed for 5 nights at this cute place. It was nice and quiet. The river was a quick trip down the stairs. The river there was on the swallow side, which was perfect for me and my daughter since we just like to sit along the rocks. We definitely recommend this place!!!

Overall Great Stay

Very nice house in a great location. Little Ponderosa Tubes is at the entrance they let you float to your house and come pick up tubes then you get your vehicle or can float to them. It was very convenient. The house was simple yet very nice and accommodating. Back yard was also very nice and a great hangout spot when not on the river. The only negative of our trip was the grass was overgrown and really needed to be mowed. Just was an annoyance to have to walk through shin high grass to get to the river.

Much needed family getaway!

This was the perfect location and home for our much needed family getaway! I brought my adult children and family to celebrate graduations and birthdays. As soon as we arrived, we all knew this was exactly what we needed. The home was super cute, clean and well maintained, but it was the access to the river that was perfect. Easy on my knees, not hundreds of steps like so many others, and the people we met down at the river were so fun! Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

Great house!

My Hubs and I had a great stay! The only thing i wished for during our stay was a hot tub. We stayed during the off season so the river was too cold to jump in and we heard construction noise from 2 different neighbors. That's what happens during the off season. The house was great and comfy bed and nice bathroom and shower. We want to come back when we can enjoy the river.

Relaxing River Getaway

We initially booked this property due to the proximity and ease of accessing the river. It was perfect!! The place was so beautiful and light! The backyard was the perfect hangout spot for us to play cornhole and relax in the evenings. The only complaint that I have is that the outside trash was spilling over and hadn't been changed since previous guests and the kitchen sink disposal was full of solid food that needed to be pulled out, but after we got past that the stay was amazing! We will definitely be back!!

Great Stay

The house is exactly as advertised. The outdoor areas are beautiful and relaxing. The house is a great size for a small group. The house is also well equipped so it really helps limit the packing list. The only negative was that the beds were a bit too firm.

🌵Amazing Vacation Home🌵

We will stay here again! The home was perfectly decorated in a minimal Texan Modern way and it smelled amazing when we walked in! It was impeccably clean! It has that open feeling yet the bedrooms are private and absolutely comfortable. My favorite parts of the home were the open large shower with adjustable rain shower head, the kitchen, washer & dryer were top of the line, and the concrete stained floors with Texan area rugs. The air conditioning kept us cool on hot nights! The backyard outdoor shower was perfect to get cleaned up after River fun. The location couldn’t be any better with the grand entrance to the crystal clear River. We spent many days in the River just a few steps from the backyard. We received many compliments on the private entrance to the River front since it is so “grand”. We loved everything about this house and worked well having small children and a teenager. Can’t wait until our next stay! Felt bitter sweet checking out and crossing the River one last time.. ☀️ 🌵 ☀️

Location on river was great. Great area for families. Beware of shower, zero water pressure through the rain shower head. Had water pressure everywhere else. Lip in the floor in doorway of bathroom, watch your toes in dark, it will bite you. House was semi clean upon arrival. I understand it being busy during vacation season but when you pay for something nice you expect it to be that way. With semi clean floors and poor shower, it's hard to get clean and feel clean at the end of the day. Rocks around the home and in back patio area look nice, but be prepared to wear shoes at all times. House had a smell like the previous guests had Chinese takeout and left it in the air ducts. Just couldn't get rid of the smell, keeping it from smelling and feeling like it had been cleaned between guests.

Good with a few issues

We had a great time overall. The property was just as pictured in the listing. It was clean, kitchen was well equipped, all of that was perfect. Biggest gripe was no blinds in the windows, not even in the shower. Not a huge deal but for me personally it was annoying and made it harder to relax. The neighboring house is huge. The last couple days of our stay there were 30+ people and kids staying next door who kept coming over into our yard and using our river access. Not sure what can be done about this other than extending the fence which is currently very short. Overall our stay was very good. I do recommend this place.

You can put in the river at the house and have a 30-45 minute float down to the road where you can get out if you want. Will book this house again!
