Elija Ponderosa Paradise para su próximo amigo o unas vacaciones en familia. Esta acogedora habitación de dos dormitorios, dos baños cómodamente con capacidad para 8 personas entre las habitaciones y sofás-cama en el dormitorio principal y sala de estar. El dormitorio principal cuenta con una gran cama king size, baño completo con ducha, y una impresionante vista al río Guadalupe. El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama queen y comparte el baño completo justo al lado del pasillo.

Entrar en la sala de estar y encontrará muebles cómodos, HDTV por cable, y una cocina totalmente equipada con todos los utensilios necesarios y vajilla necesarios para su estancia. ¡Pero no olvides por qué estás aquí! Un rápido paseo por la puerta de atrás revela un amplio espacio de la cubierta y asientos, perfecto para disfrutar de las vistas y sonidos del río Guadalupe abajo, y todo mientras bajo la sombra de cipreses y árboles antiguos pecan. Continúe hasta el paseo marítimo y vea un tubérculo, kayakista o pescador con mosca, y prepárese para unirse a la diversión.

The Most Beautiful View in New Braunfels

This tranquil paradise was a pleasant surprise. The drive up was beautiful and as we got closer to the property the kids actually put down their iPads! Driving among the trees and over the Guadalupe river was lots of fun and I was able to see my kids eyes for the first time in 2 hours. When we pulled Ain the carport they quickly jumped up

Drugs and roaches

It took us 4 hours to get access to the street the house was located on. They were putting down asphalt. No one informed us that it would be unavailable, loud and smelly due to that. When we finally had access, we immediately found left over drugs all over the carport area from previous guest. When entering the house the overwhelming smell of mold in the kitchen made me want to vomit. I spent 3 hours cleaning out the dishwasher so that we could sit in the main area of the house. They need to hire a new pest control company so that roaches are not crawling all over everything! I understand it's the river, but 100s of roaches are inside the house. The main River Road is located directly behind the house, which gives you no privacy and is loud at all hours. If you want a peaceful stay, book closer to the dam where the road isn't behind the river. The good- the mattress was comfortable and the linens were clean.

Great view of the river!

Communication with Erin (Property manager) was great!! Beautiful drive into the property. Small delay getting into the property because the owner sent someone to check the house because they thought it was not rented. That was quickly fixed although the person checking the property did track in some dirt and leaves and we had to vacuum before we could even bring our bags in and unpack. Not the end of the world, just a minor delay and we needed to do a little cleaning before roaming bare/sock-footed. House was pretty well appointed and had some new updates which were nice. The home still needs some TLC here and there and a few minor repairs. The location was tucked away and pretty quiet, but easy to get around. All in all it was a pretty enjoyable stay and we really enjoyed the view of the river!

It was great! Wish the river running but looks luke the water table was low. Absolutely loved the view. The house was lovely. Loved the layout and the fire place. Large kitchen was wounderful. Unsafe BB Pit

Overall, we did like the property mainly because of the location. The big issue we had with this house was actually the gas barbecue pit. We ended up burning one of our full meals And almost burning my arm and face. I had no idea that the gas tubes inside that barbecue pit were so corroded and rusted out and propane was just dumping inside of that barbecue pit. I guess the real issue I have is that this was known. It had brand new foil, all tucked up under those gas pipes that were all corroded out. But from the top, everything looks nice and fresh with new foil down there. I opened it up because it had flared up on me once before and I thought maybe it was just dirty . So I would just clean it and everything would be good. That wasn’t the case. This could’ve actually blown up in my face. So I’m thankful that it was me and not some young adult or some person that had no idea how to barbecue or anything about fire. Could’ve been badly hurt. If I had not disconnected the gas tank from below and removed it while the barbecue pit was on fire, it was a potential that we could’ve had an explosion. I don’t because of my safety and health will put a risk. I’m also putting out in hopes that it gets replaced before somebody gets hurt. I did remove the tank and left it in attached from the BBQ pot. I also took photos of needed. I also submitted this to the property management company this morning morning and have heard nothing back from them.

Quick get away

Neighborhood and convenience to tube and float rental is amazing! Water is pretty deep at the property and you’ll need floats to hang out in the water there. Overall it was a nice stay. Quick trip to Gruene was a lot of fun.

Perfect spot for a retreat with friends!

This place had it all for a quiet weekend with friends who were looking to catch up, tell jokes, swim in the river a bit, a do some cooking! The kitchen and living room are open concept and perfect for mingling and even with 6 people it didnt feel crowded at all! Planning on coming back with my wife and other friends in the future.

Family Vacation

Our group of 4 Adults. Property was perfect for the 4 of us. Both bedrooms were very comfortable. Showers got as hot as you wanted, and had enough elbow room. Kitchen was large, and well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils etc. Coffee maker is a pot drip style coffee maker, and 3 packs of coffee were left for us to make which was nice. It was really hot while we were here. Over 105 degrees, and A/C kept the home as cool as we wanted it. The big back porch was great for hanging out chatting over drinks. The River was really nice right off the back yard, and we even floated down the river from the back yard 1 day. House is close to grocery store, and most things you would need within 5 minutes or so. Overall a great home for 4 people to visit for a week.
