Welcome to Magnolia River Haus!

Vacation like a local in this newly built luxury home situated just 2 blocks from downtown New Braunfels! In addition to the inground pool, guests of Magnolia River Haus will have direct access to the crystal clear Comal River through nearby Beavers’ Bend. This large 6 bedroom/4 bath home can comfortably accommodate up to 18 guests. Perfect home for larger groups with plenty of room to enjoy your time together! The furnishings of the home is as follows: The primary bedroom #1 features a comfortable king-size bed & large wall-mounted flat-screen TV. French doors allow guests to walk right out onto the shared wrap-around porch patio for morning coffee. The primary en suite has a large walk-in shower and double vanity.

Bedroom #2 on the main level of the home features an additional king-size bed with a shared hall bath. Guests staying in this bedroom will also have access through additional French doors leading out onto the shared wrap-around porch.

As you make your way upstairs, you will find a spacious loft/lounging style room with a Queen size pull-out couch. Bedroom #3 will feature a King size bed, Bedroom #4 will have a Queen size bed and lastly, bedrooms #5 & #6 will both have 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeping a total of 8).

The outdoor living space features an inground heated pool with plenty of outdoor seating. The home also offers a Bluetooth Sonos speaker system for your enjoyment of the outdoor space. Additionally, you will have access to high-speed wireless internet throughout the home.

*Please note, this home is NOT wheelchair accessible and will require stairs.

We work closely with a 3rd party equipment rental company that provides golf-carts to guests staying at 8Sages*Gruene for an additional cost. New Braunfels is a very golf-cart-friendly town and the "lokals" favorite mode of transportation! The golf carts are dropped off at the property prior to your arrival, gassed up, so all you have to do when you arrive is jump on in and cruise around! Let us help get your vacation started even sooner!

We can arrange for transportation to and from our vacation rentals. Transportation dependent on availability so ample time is greatly appreciated.

Pets are allowed with an additional $250/nonrefundable pet deposit. Pets will not be allowed on the furniture and crates are highly encouraged. Owners are expected to clean up after your pet outside for the consideration of other renters. Additional fees could apply if we find that your pet was allowed on the furniture or beds or if we find it was left unnecessarily messy because of the pet, and/or if we find damage to any part of the home.

Property was exactly as expected! The home was beautiful, and the outdoor space was perfect for our get together. There were a few concerns with pool furniture We had a wonderful time and everyone loved the house.

There were 11 people in our family that stayed at the house. There was ample sleeping space (actually more than we needed) and enough room for all of us to be together as well as not being on top of each other! My kids (10 and 6) LOVED their own little place under the stairs! What a GREAT use of that space!!! We all would recommend this house to anyone!

Nestled right in the heart of downtown with a short walk to shops and restaurants made for a perfect spot. We enjoyed the large size of the home for our multiple families. The house was clean and worked great for what we needed. Only one draw back is that it is not on the river. Great place!

We came for my daughter’s wedding in San Marcos. This house was perfect - tons of room, so clean. More amenities and things that most vrbos don’t have ( pans, pots, glasses). The pool was not heated, but not a problem.

Overall the house is great, very nice and in a great area. Walking distance from the main downtown NB. The only thing was we were approved for an early check-in but when we arrived to set up before the rest of the group the cleaning crew had just gotten there and told us they were never informed about the early check-in. The kitchen and some areas were not cleaned and we had to go purchase cleaning supplies and a broom to finish the job. We had a blast and couldn't have gotten a more perfect house for the size group we had.

It was a beautiful house in a great location. We liked having the golf cart to drive around downtown to site see and having a short walk to the comal river. The only complaint was the internet connection and some construction noises next door early in the morning but otherwise great house!!

the house is very nice, and clean and well equipped . lots of parking . close to town so you can walk several places . it was winter so we didn’t use the pool. only possible downside is there are some older not so nice houses around it. new construction next door and across the street will help when completed. I would rent the house again.

We were looking for a gorgeous home near the river with a pool and that would comfortably fit 12 moms for Mother’s Day weekend retreat and THIS WAS IT! My tip to others is to make sure you rent the golf cart! It made our trip that much better!

My son was getting married and the family needed a place to stay plus a venue for our rehearsal dinner. This place was perfect and it suited us very well. We cooked together and had our dinner with everyone enjoying themselves and commenting on what a beautiful place it was.

This property is great. Lots of room, clean, well-stocked in kitchen (drip coffee maker AND Kuerig, with starter amounts, glassware, serving pieces.....) Dishwasher soap, laundry detergent. Just note, the owners do not supply bath soap or shampoo or conditioner. Not a major issue, just not the norm for VRBO and we hadn't packed any. The other VERY minor issues, were the fact that the front page of the listing shows a golfcart (which was available for an additional fee), and that "River Access" was down the street, through 2 gates. The pretty picnic tables in the listing, were over there, not on the home property itself. These things are VERY MINOR, and the home was fabulous. Just want others to know before they go.

Our family rented this VRBO for Christmas, it was the perfect size for our group of 15. It was clean and beautiful and the pool and location were great. The only thing that was less than ideal was that there were not enough essentials to last our family for our stay. We had to make two seperate runs for toilet paper, dishwasher pods and soaps/ shampoos.

We are a small real estate company that takes a yearly retreat away from the office. This home allowed us the space we needed while being accommodating to both men and women sharing space. It had a great open floor plan downstairs and plenty of space in all bedrooms. The pool was great as well! I highly recommend!
