Gorgeous 2 bedroom Casita on the Guadalupe River walking distance from Gruene.

Beautifully decorated two bedroom one bath Casita complete with fully equipped kitchen, complimentary coffee bar, and laundry room. Wonderful amenities throughout with an upscale atmosphere and attention to detail. BBQ gas grill on the upper patio, lower patio has seating with a beautiful view, and direct Guadalupe river access. Steps down to the river have a hand rail, although not easily accessible for the physically challenged.

Just a short walk to downtown Gruene! EV charging station for guest use only, including high-speed Wi-Fi and streaming smart TV’s. Thorough cleaning initiatives in place for the safety of our guests. We’re also a 100% non-smoking property; no smoking or vaping allowed inside.

Come and enjoy some true Texas hospitality. Take in a concert at the famous Gruene Hall, dine at wonderful nearby restaurants, grab a cold beverage at numerous taverns & live music venues, or enjoy shopping the convenient antique and boutique shops. We’re just a short drive away from Schlitterbahn Water Park, downtown New Braunfels, Wurstfest, Landa Park, the Comal river, and ~20min to the San Marcos Outlet Malls!

Located on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, you can easily take a day excursion to visit Austin, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, or San Antonio. In fact, some of the most famous BBQ in Texas is easily within driving distance.

This location is perfect for a couple or family with 2 kids. The walk to Gruene Hall was close and convenient, but maybe too far for elderly or others who need a smooth paved sidewalk, as there is not one.

Magical escape in Gruene, Texas! Put this place on your bucket list! This Casita is modern, yet homey…honestly, my husband and I are already looking at dates to return. The owner-hosts, Terry and Terry, were incredibly helpful and responsive! Their attention to detail is truly outstanding. The property is on the Guadalupe river and an easy walk to Gruene Hall, plus adorable shops and amazing restaurants! Go to Gruene Door…the food is world class! The River City grill has great food and you will feel like you stepped back in history! The staff at both places are truly special…warm and welcoming. Kora-Kora for coffee, yummy scones and muffins. This trip was a combination work (writing retreat) and of course, a lil’ Texas fun! If I had imagined a place to reset my nervous system-this is it!

My wife and I loved everything about the property. It was great for a couple spending 4 nights in Gruene. Everything in Gruene was easy walking distance. Parking was great. Bed was great. Shower was great. We made breakfast every morning and had what we needed. Coffee station is really nice. We'll look to book again as we may be down again next year at this time.

We can't say enough great things about the property and the host for this casita! Everything was exactly as pictured and they have thought of everything for your stay! The host were so responsive and went the extra mile to make our stay extra special (we were celebrating a 50th birthday)! We loved the river access and spent evenings down on the lower deck overlooking the river. This casita is within close walking distance to Gruene Hall and very close to shopping, restaurants and bars! We walked the entire weekend. We can't recommend this property enough and will definitely be back!

terry the property manager maybe the owner, was wonderful and very helpful. the house was beautiful inside and out. it was really close to everything and just far enough away to not get caught up in gruene traffic. i loved the access to the river and it was a perfect swimming spot. i strongly reccomend it and will definently rent there again.

This casita is first class! Very well appointed and upscale amenities. They had everything we needed and more. Loaded coffee bar, shower amenities, fully stocked kitchen, upoer and lower decks with grill, fire pit, chairs for relaxing and viewing the beautiful Guadalupe river! Walk to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, live music, putt putt golf. Terry and Terry make it a memorable vacation! We tubed the river from the back yard of the casita!!

Great casita walking distance from Gruene and the Guadalupe river

We had a great stay at this casita. Clean, modernized facility with great amenities! Kids loved the bunk beds and the access to the river, and mom and dad loved the location (10 min walk to Gruene, 10 mins drive to grocery store and tons of restaurants). Highly recommend!

Perfect River Getaway for the Family!

Our family loved everything about our stay at Terry's Casita! I'll start with the location. There is not a more convenient spot! Every evening we walked (with our three and six year old) into Gruene to eat dinner, shop, play putt putt golf, and get ice cream. Each day we played in the river which is directly accessible on the property. We loved the Texas music and classy rustic feel of the Casita. The cleanliness and updated decor met our high expectations when staying at a vrbo. Terry's hospitality and attention to fine detail is refreshing. There wasn't a need that wasn't already anticipated, from toiletries, to every modern-day convenience necessary, snacks, and even a kind note and gift for our little guys. Easy check in and out and great communication. We can't wait to come back. One of the best places to stay in our book! Thank you.

The OCD Oasis

Our stay was amazing! I have OCD, so traveling is really hard for me. Cleanliness is a top priority for me. This is the cleanest place I have ever stayed. It was amazing.
