The home is also tucked neatly away from any main roads, so distractions and traffic noise are a non-issue. Kick up your feet and enjoy one of two deck areas overlooking the river, or make your way down to the riverfront patio, where you'll find easy water access, additional seating, and an available charcoal grill to cook a memorable meal on the banks of the river. Inside, you'll find two king master suites and the kitchen, dining, and living areas on the main floor. It was absolutely a fantastic four night five day stay. This is the second year in a row that we’ve gone and stayed at the Braun Rio. We love this house. It is so nice and clean and a fantastic place to stay on the river. Vacay did a great job communicating with us and accommodating us at every request. We will probably go back again next year highly recommend you check it out!!

Disappointed in property because pictures presented more favorable house than actually was. Kitchen windows and sliding door were filthy. Roaches in bathrooms, no TV in living room, Balcony dirty, grounds unkept, mirror in bathroom by laundry room was dirty. Will not be returning.

Very well maintained, clean and quiet place. The river access and balconies overlooking were Esquisite. The nature sounds and nightly fire flies in the peaceful setting was more than one could hope for. A wonderful family friendly river house.

GREAT TIMES AT THE RIVER

came down with the wife, mother-in-law and 5 kids ranging from 1 year - 14 years old. we were in town for the wilder blue concert and decided to stay a couple extra days, it was amazing.

Everything was perfect!

The property was wonderful. Very private. Right on the river. Perfect. …. We put our kayaks into the River in our backyard (near 4th Crossing) and floated down to the 1st Crossing. Amazing location. Came home and grilled.

Relaxing stay!

Our stay was very relaxing and quiet- which is just what we we wanted. We spent a lot of time on back porch and terrace and enjoyed a campfire on the river’s edge every night! The beds were super comfortable!

Awesome spot on the river

Great house right on the Guadalupe. The upstairs room was perfect for our boys and the downstairs bedrooms were great for our daughter and us. The house was clean and well maintained. We spent the entire time outside by and near the river. Just a nice quiet vacation!

Serenity Plus Location Your Comments Braun Rio is a wonderfully peaceful Braun Rio was a wonderful place to spend a few days. Just sitting on the deck outside listening to the gurgling of the river stream by and the goats bleating from a nearby farm is enough! But, there are many amazing restaurants to try and towns to visit. The house is well equipped with everything needed to cook meals. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms conveniently located. Our stay was perfect in every way!

Great Location…

We were very excited to stay here because my husband’s uncle built this house so he wanted to see if it had changed much! It’s a great home, but definitely needs some TLC… the main issue was the AC! It froze up multiple times and it seemed to be after we would cook! There’s no vent over the island & so it would get HOT when you cooked in the kitchen! Then there’s something hanging from the vent in the loft to catch either water or dust coming out of the vent. The other issue was the chairs on the deck, the wood & split. It looked like someone tried gluing it back together but it didn’t hold! Overall, the house is great, but with Texas heat, the AC could definitely use some attention!

Very relaxing!

We sat in our lawn chairs in the river under shade trees and watched tubers go by. We tubed ourselves at a nearby rental place. Convenient to Wimberly to dine and shop. We went to nearby Canyon lake one day. The home has great kitchen and comfortable beds. We will be back!

Beautiful property, pictures do not do justice.

This is a beautiful property. Pictures can’t capture the beauty of this beautiful place. The river is very accessible and the house itself was very comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Stay here!

We had an amazing girls trip at Braun Rio. The house was clean and as advertised. The kitchen was stocked with necessities and linens were clean. We had plenty of room for our group of 8. Access to the river was easy but the water was very shallow. We will 100% be staying at this property again!!!!
