Tipi Haere means to roam about or call in at places - a name chosen to welcome visitors to Nelson & this very special spot!

Nestled on Nelsons prestigious Princes Drive with sparkling sea & panoramic city views, this brand new, light filled & architecturally inspired home offers every modern convenience.

Wonderfully cosy & tastefully furnished with excellent amenities, this home lends itself to relaxation & unwinding.

Enjoy open plan living with fantastic flow to the top-deck BBQ & entertaining area or head down the steps to the private garden area below.

You'll love the great proximity to the beach as well as the city s theatres, galleries, shopping, restaurants & bars. All are within walking distance or a quick 3min. drive!

**Special conditions & notes**:

- Strictly no party, gatherings or venue use. No Smoking. Pets are not permitted.

- Security cameras - For the general security of the property & guests, cameras surveil the parking and driveway areas.

- Noise in the area - This is a generally quiet area, however, this property is located on a main road where passing traffic can be heard, particularly during the main commuting hours on weekdays. Please be assured that the home is double glazed and well insulated.

**Payment, Bond/Security Deposit and Cancellation**:

- A 30% deposit secures your stay with the balance due 3 weeks prior to your arrival (full payment will be required if booking within 3 weeks of arrival).

- Three weeks prior to your arrival (or immediately if booking within 3 weeks of arrival), you’ll need to provide a card authority for the bond/security deposit via our secure online check in process.

- Cancel anytime up until 3 weeks prior to arrival for any reason and you’ll pay no more than 30% of the booking total.

- Where compassionate circumstances for cancellation exist, we’ll be happy to look at further flexibility, usually in the form of postponement of your stay, or a credit towards future stay dates.

- A Rental Agreement document is provided as part of the booking process. Please refer to the agreement for full terms and conditions. :-)

Lovely spot while in Nelson

We enjoyed our stay in Nelson, the space was comfortable for 6 adults, and the view was lovely. Well equipped kitchen even though our stay wasn’t really long enough to cook much more than simple breakfasts. I would say that we didn’t really consider it walking distance to town, given that it was straight up/down and we are all fairly fit people. Carrying groceries or supplies would have been next to impossible. That said, we had a car so it wasn’t an issue, just a note for future guests.

We found this property excellent - super clean, beautifully fitted out and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. We needed easy access. Only downside was the road is quite noisy.

Stop over while travelling down country.

This is a fantastic spot to base yourself while visiting the Nelson district. Close to supermarkets, gas stations and the water front. Boat Shed is just down the hill! The house does not disappoint. everything you need is here.

Our family really enjoyed our trip to sunny Nelson. Well positioned Bach, easy access to city, region and beach. Very tidy and well presented home, only drawback is the road noise. Otherwise excellent.

Princes St stay

We really enjoyed staying in this part of Nelson and at this property. The house was very light and tidy with simple but very tasteful decor. Close to central city but also Tahunanui Beach and all the outer attractions. The road can be busy and noisy at times but isn't too noticeable when windows and doors are shut. House does heat up during the day so keeping blinds down all day is essential but Air-Con is really good to compensate for this. Highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay at Tipi Haere Holiday Home. It was an excellent base and we enjoyed basking in the sunshine that was streaming through the windows while watching the harbour below.

Cleanest VR by far. Views are stunning.

Having rented dozens of homes through VRBO, this was the cleanest by miles. The views from front and back are stunning. The beds and furniture are comfortable and modern. Appliances are new and not beat up and junky like a lot of rentals. The street can get busy and parking can feel tight when cars are racing up the road but that seemed to be for only a short time each day. The kitchen could use a few more dishes. Would be a good idea to have an extra key for guests who might be doing separate activities or in situations of needed home repair. Those are our only complaints so....overall, great.

Spectacular house, great view!

This house was by far the best appointed house we were in during our three week stay in New Zealand! The beds, linens, comforter/blanket options, pillow options were all there so you could adjust things to your particular needs/wants. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans etc. It would have been nice for there to be a bit more in the way of spices etc. but that's a minor thing. Nelson is a much busier place than we expected so although this house isn't far from town walking in didn't feel safe as people drive really fast on these windy, hilly roads. So having a car to get around seems essential to me. The driveway into the house is at a sharp angle so getting out onto the road was a bit precarious depending on the traffic. And as the house is really close to the road, when you have the windows open, which we did because it was warm while we were there, you could hear the cars zipping up and down the road. But all those things were minor, workable issues for us. The drive into the main part of town was an easy 5 minutes and the house was easily accessible to dining out, wineries, as well as hiking and National Parks. So overall, this was a great house and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Great location & stunning views

A fantastic spot, perfect for the beach and town. The house is immaculate and everything you need is available. The road can be quite busy at times because it's a short cut between town and Tahunanui, but this shouldn't be a deterrent. Thanks again!
