lovely location, disappointing maintenance and equipment

The best part of this townhouse is the location. It is on the water with a view of gardens and Bloody Bay, and just a couple of minutes from the pool and beach. The one downside: very noisy when outside. It is close to the busy coastal road and a huge resort that plays loud music in the afternoon and evening. The downside is the maintenance and supplies. On the deck facing the view, there is supposed to be a barbeque, but the BBQ is a broken rusted out ruin that cannot be used. There are four chairs, all broken to some extent, two dangerously. In the master bedroom, the closet door is broken and will not close. The shower leaks badly unless you turn the shower head just the right way. This is a long standing problem, you can see that from the water damage to the ceiling of the kitchen below. The kitchen is very short of cooking essentials, for example there is no big knife with a cutting edge -- only a half a dozen steak knives. No big frying pan or sieve for draining pasta , etc etc. There are no emergency supplies, for example no flashlights (and the power does go down now and then). We have stayed at Litttle Bay before and had a binder full of useful information from how to get medical care to notes on good local restaurants. We were met by people who explained how all the appliances etc worked. Not here. The AC in the second bedroom does not cool much. Two doors won't lock. This would be a nice placed to stay if someone would take proper care of it.

Great Vacay Spot for Friends & Family

Our girls trip group of 4 enjoyed our stay at LBCC for the 4th year in a row. This is our first stay in this townhome. It has a lovely view of the Bloody Bay and is a very short walk to the wonderful beach. We love this community as we always feel safe and it is easy to get out and enjoy the surrounding area if we feel the need. The townhome met our needs well, with plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms. It is nice to stay in for meals when you like and go out when you want to experience Jamaican cuisine. If you plan to stay in and cook, be sure to be prepared to bring your own coffee, spices, and any special cookware or utensils you might need as these were not provided. We were able to communicate with Paul prior to our arrival, so we were prepared to bring items that we would want to have on hand during our stay. The housekeeper was very easy to reach during our stay when a few minor issues arose and responded very quickly and helped us quickly, which was very much appreciated. We recommend LBCC to any vacationer looking for Jamaican hospitality, a gorgeous beach and a welcoming community. It is a great place for friends and family to stay. Looking forward to next year already!

Loved, Loved, loved this place.

The place was the best location. We had our own beach and we walked over to the other beach and made some really good people. Great food , great vibes and it was quiet not a lot of resorts around. Will be definitely be back. Thank you Paul.

Lovely Place, For a Lovely Stay

This place is in the perfect spot in the subdivision. Over looking the ocean where you can walk out and snorkel if you so choose or Literally a 1-2 minute walk to the pool, where there is a beach that you can snorkel there as well. The home itself has the most comfortable chairs that you can relax and lose yourself on and let time slip away. The second bedroom has its own HUGE balcony that over looks the entrance and you can watch other guest come and go if you like to people watch. Also there are a few fruit trees just off the back patio as well, including an akee tree.

Clean and comfortable

My family and I had very good time in Paul’s house! Very nice waterfront house. Very comfortable beds and we liked a lot the recliners in the living room as well. Good equipped kitchen, barbecue and outdoor sitting. Paul is an wonderful host- provided us all the information we needed and answered all the questions we had. We definitely will come again!

Extremely satisfying 2 weeks in December 2021

This review is from a well-traveled family of 5, 2 adults, 2 pre-teens and one grandmother from Canada. LBCC is a gated community of some 60 semis and some towns. Paul's property is a semi-detached and accommodates perfectly; everything works - which is a highlight as I came to know that other properties have issues with either the laundry pair stove, AC etc. This property delivers 100% as advertised. The property has access to a little beach on the Bloody Bay side - so nice for the avid snorkeler. That said we saw a total of 20 souls in the community in 2 weeks, which is nice given the times. My son and daughter had the pool and main beach to themselves pretty much. This location of the property in the complex is the best imo, as it is 1 minute to the main beach and has its own little private water access in the back. You wake up to the views of Bloody Bay right from your bedroom upstairs. Internet was all right all the time. TV service very nice, you must be self sufficient and looking for peace and quiet. Jamaicans are not rich by any means but everyone helps, just a wonderful feeling. This host is the real deal. Talk to Paul. Car rental 2 weeks Enterprise MBJ 700US, all food and restaurants 2 weeks about 1200, drinks 400, self made trips 300. You'll won't be surprised to know that the fish market in Negril is awesome. Also all the prices I paid were the real prices no one tries to scam you. If you rent a car buy the tire and rim insurance there are some pot holes I think you can see Australia through those. Paul has the perfect setup for R&R.

Fantastic Family Get Away

Modern, clean and beautiful home. Spacious for family of five. This is or second visit to this area, having stayed at a different villa previously. We enjoyed our stay - the views of the water, greenery and cooler temperatures in the afternoon when it rain. There is a lot to do on site and off-site - Negril is literally just down the road. Thank you Paul for the use of your villa - we enjoyed ourselves. Please extend our gratitude to Dean - who available when needed.

Accommodating Owner

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, unfortunately, our trip had to be cancelled. Paul, the Owner, accommodated the situation and released our payment for a refund with VRBO. Currently awaiting refund processing from VRBO. Will update once full refund is received.
