"This place is an absolute gem. Terrific location, charming and with so much attention to the guest’s experience. If I could rate higher than 10 I would."

"This is a nice hotel, great location for families; you're very close to the boardwalk and the wharf. I will def be back. The sunrise from the balcony was a nice touch, and at night, when it's quiet, you can hear the ocean. Everything was clean, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Popcorn was available in the afternoons, and coffee and tea were available all the time. Oh yeah, the breakfast is a nice addition as well. We ended up walking to downtown for dinner, which wasn't too far."

"Overall it was nice but I was in the street side and it was very loud, had to use white noise to sleep. Otherwise it was a nice room."

"We booked our room for four days and were very happy to find that this hotel was in the center of everything we wanted to do. It’s close to the beaches, the redwoods, and close to some really great restaurants. It was clean and it was quiet. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, close to everything, reasonably priced hotel."

"Room was clean and the breakfast was great!"

"Super location and staff! Within walking distance of the beach and the Civic Auditorium! A unique setup where you can store food in a common refrigerator and have all the kitchen items to use when you want. We bought food at Gayle's and kept it later fir dinner. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Great friendly staff!"

"Everything was just fine but the air conditioner squealed each time it came on. I did not report it until the morning but the staff apologized and noted my concern for maintenance."

"clean room and yes"

"Staff was very helpful."

"Had a really nice view from the room, which was the biggest plus. Other than that, they were missing certain things for an upscale hotel you need real glasses in the room or at least two coffee mugs no more single use plastic cups. Was disappointed in the spa. I did my research and I thought that all hotel guests received free entry into the spa. However, there’s only one sauna that’s in the women’s locker room and you have to pay for a day pass. Also very poor hours on the spa if you were to do...

"This is one of my favorite places to stay at Santa Cruz very clean and quiet in the front desk gal is very kind and friendly"
